We came twice in this taverna. We first enjoyed the great view when arriving: the sunset on the sea and behind the Mount Athos is the jewel of Limnos and this is one of the best place to be amazed. Then the food: all the greek and lemnian classics are there and delicious: tzatziki, saganaki tiri, greek salad... i donât eat seafood but my friends loved it a lot (especially the shrimp saganaki). I took a lemon pork and the meat was fresh well cooked and the sauce was divine!The table next to us had 9.5 kilos of fresh fish cooked and prepared by the chef!Nice and kind team, see you next year!!Thank you very much for your kind words! For a change in Myrina, I felt like a double espresso rather than a Greek coffee. This little cafe (a franchise I think) has excellent coffee and service. Itâs small and the choice of food to eat is very limited, but the coffee is excellent. If youâre hankering for a good double espresso, itâs worth going. The staff are helpful and efficient too. Itâs clean and welcoming.

We love this place for relax - great coffee, cocktails and huge pancakes! The view to the sea and the castle is awesome! We usually stay there at breakfast and before going to the other favourite place of ours - the neighbouring seafood restaurant Cosmos.

We enjoyed sitting under the pine tree shadow very much, but we found service rather slow and the cream pie (bougatsa) tasty but the pastry sheet not crunchy enough.Each portion costs 2 euro and it's a nice place to relax in the centre of the market, watching people coming-by.

The only place in Lemnos we felt we wasted our money. The drinks are very expensive & also mediocre; the coffee was not good, Italian or Greek. The cakes were supermarket-level. The worst part is the location. It is on a busy crossroads & noisy & fumy, with trucks idling & manoevring next to the tables. We'd go to any or the other options in Moudros before coming back, and if they were bad, we'd drive somewhere else.

For a pre-dinner ouzo I usually like to go to the traditional Kafenion 'Aigaion' by the Tourkikos Gialos and its fishing harbour, but this time I was in the mood to sit by the different, but equally attractive Romeikos Gialos. The place 'To Podilato' (the Bicycle) was new to me and the outdoor seating area looked pleasant, very close to the water and with a great view over the bay. The waiter told me that their ouzo is 'Mini' from Lesbos, so that was fine with me. One can have it with a meze (⬠3.50), but I just went for a glass. It was served with a small bucket full of ice cubes, a nice glass bottle of water and an assortment of mixed nuts, thus in a better way than at several other places here.A disadvantage at this hour of the day is the fact that the Cafe Creperie, as it calls itself, is pretty close to the Myrina Castle Rock, behind which the sun disappears. Thus one sits in the shade, when other cafe-restaurants further down on Romeikos Gialos are still bathed in sunshine.

One of the best beaches on the island.Close to the capital town of Myrina.Lovely crystal-clear waters. Very well organized beach bar and quite (because it is not suitable for children since the water is not very shallow for children to play) Very nice and cool is the area near the cafe where you can have something to eat or drink..One thing I didn't like was the music which was rather loud..I would prefer a more soft and relaxing.music...and then I could describe it ...as paradise on earth.
