It is situated on the banks of the Mooi Rivier (Afrikaans for "pretty (or beautiful) river"), roughly 120 km (75 mi) west-southwest of Johannesburg and 45 km (28 mi) east-northeast of Klerksdorp. Potchefstroom, together with Rustenburg, is the second largest city in the North-West Province. The largest city, Klerksdorp, is situated about 45 km from the town.

Beautiful place, industrial, with great views of the dam. Food was to die for, I had the Haloumi salad and my husband had the lamb burger. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. We visited for lunch, from about 12:00-13:30(hottest time of the day) and we could feel it. No aircon or fans and the deck is even worse with shade cloth and umbrellas, but you can feel the sun burning. This is probably the best place in town at night without the heat of the sun or in the winter months. I would recommend industrial fans that will fit in nicely, but air conditioning will even be better. I will definitely be back, but not on a hot summersday

What an atmosphere, what a location....what very quick and overly friendly staff. What a disappointment with the food. The previous restaurant was called âdecadent cafe â where the food was more than excellent, but the service was worse than bad. This one has good service but very bad food. I had the quiche.... Pre prepared. Badly heated and tough...hard crust. My son had pancakes, whatever one can do wrong with pancakes it was done. My wife does not even remember what she had....she ereased it from her memory, thatâs how bad it was.Good MorningDid u inform the manager or the waiter of this problem while you were there or is your first complaint on this platform?We would like to get to the bottom of this and resolve the complaint as it is not the standard we normally serve to people.Can you please send your telephone number to the owner - Pieter - 0745030462.Regards

When travelling through Potch I loved coming here for a coffee and they make the best spinach quiche with a fresh side salad. I could sit here for hours. It is easily located at the Woolworths entrance to the mall and you are also able to sit outside. Very affordable uncomplicated menu.Service is always excellent and the you can see the owner really take care of the business. Well done!!

Super Cocktails, cool people, place for networking & to meet singles Open from breakfast time, through until late; this place works just as well with a noon smoothie as with an evening cocktail. The kitchen is open on Mondays to Thursdays 07:30 am - 09:00

My friends and I went to have cocktails at Fine Things on Thursday afternoon after a very hard test. We were very impressed with the size of their cocktailmenu and the great variety they served. Our cocoktails arrived within 10 minutes of ordering them! We are students, so we (and our budgets) enjoy their daily happy hour with half price cocktails! A great resturaunt to have fun with friends!
