The Grill Room is the only good restaurant situated in the Palace hotel. Menu is very good and has an excellent wine menu. Service good, food good, wine expensive as expected in most restaurants. Portions are a bit large. I had 2 starters which was perfect. Booking is essential especially over weekends.

We had a good experience here with great friendly staff. The food was ok. Chicken wings were great, ribs very average. Kids nuggets ok, burgers ok. Our biggest disappointment was on our second experience when we ordered fries as a take away to have with our home cooked burgers. 4 portions of fries came with enough salt and BBQ sauce to feed the village.
