Inlet 790 is a family casual restaurant serving both traditional lunch fare and mouth watering dinner favorites including steak, fresh catch, pasta, delicious sides and signature cocktails. Our Executive Chefs have taken great care to ensure the menu items showcase the bounty of North Carolina seafood available, while also adding various options to please the land lovers in the group.
Clean. Large dining areas with tables/chairs, highchairs. Friendly efficient staff. Minimal ocean view from indoor dining-much better view from outdoor dining. One of the best filet mignons ever! Seven inch lobster tail is delicious, sweet & tender! Asparagus prepared to perfection! After dining out daily for the past three weeks, we were not disappointed.

Sugar Island Bakery & Supplies is a family owned and operated bakery located in Surf City, NC on Topsail Island. Our baked goods are all natural and made from scratch every day. Please understand, when we say "scratch" or "homemade" we don't mean that we defrosted it and baked it in the shop; or that we added water, stirred and baked. Our treats are made fresh DAILY from just the basics using as many local North Carolina ingredients as possible. Sugar Island is also a commercial wholesaler to many retail establishments, restaurants, and coffee houses. Sugar Island's retail shop is open 5 days a week, and we're always happy to accommodate special orders. You will also find a variety of home-baking supplies and local products in the shop. Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to amass a group of incredibly talented friends that include farmers, artisans, authors, designers, coffee roasters, and ice cream experts that produce amazing products we take pleasure in sharing. We have visited their farms, workshops, homes and studios and witnessed their creative process. We have seen that they believe in the fair treatment of employees and those around them in the community. Feel good in your shopping. You are supporting small, family-run businesses with eco-friendly practices. Local Food. Local Art. Rare Books. Used Books. Handmade Jewelry.
Fantastic baked goods & very friendly staff. Everything is baked from scratch. They also sell coffees and other beverages, but, we only bought baked goods so I can not review the coffees. They also have books and gifts for sale.
We were given a recommendation for a very nice restaurant with ocean views by the mother of the owner.

Small shop in a strip mall, very easy to miss. We went in with friends who loved it and were returning. Coffee drinkers will love all the options. (I still have to be tutored when ordering at Starbucks.) I had a Coconut Smoothie which I found to be amazing in texture and taste. Others ordered expresso shots added to their mixes, etc., all 4 were happy with choices. Interior seating area has a couch and comfy chairs, unusual decor kind of laid back, tropical and reminiscent of hideouts in the 70's... huge bookcases full of paperbacks to borrow. TV on in the corner with sports on - the only thing I found unpleasant. Tiny little mellow place, popular with locals.Nice folks.

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The owners have spent some money making the interior warm and inviting. Since we were eating late in the day, each couple shared one entree. My wife and I had a small pork plate with fried okra and my in laws had a pork sandwich, slaw on the side and fried okra.
Pork was very tender and had the NC pepper and vinegar sauce. Perfect! Fried okra was hot and crispy. Sweet tea was also very good. Only down side was the hush puppies delivered when we sat down. They would have been a 10 if served hot.
Service was very good and we will return.

A good place for a nice dinner out. The views are spectacular and the food is great! They are both fancier/more expensive and more casual/cheaper options on the menu. The service was great too and everyone was very friendly. Only complaint is the drinks weren't strong at all so I don't think those were worth the price.

Hand Pattied Burgers, Subs, Pitas, Salads, BBQ and all the fixins..Full HARD DIP ICE CREAM BAR and SOFT SERVE. 50s Style Dining, 2 antique Jukeboxes, kiddie rides and walls of Nostalgia..FUN...
We stopped in once we were sure they were open with the off season hours. I had a burger and fries with gravy while my husband had a grilled chicken sandwich and a slaw dog. It was a decent burger, tasted like my dad's right off the grill. I've been to a lot of places with the nostalgic 50's and 60's theme. I was expecting a little more.

I don’t fry food at home so on vacay I love to get me some fried seafood. Seaview does it right! I had the scallop dinner with fried okra and onion rings. My wife had the haddock sandwich. Neither meal disappointed.
When you go make sure you walk out on the pier. I have never seen so many people catching fish. This place is old school and worth the visit.

My wife and I stopped in recently and had the best steak sandwiches we've had in a while. We came during lunch and did not have a very long wait and were happy with the selections and prices. The food came out fresh, hot, and very very good. I got the regular philly while my wife got the rocky balboa (a philly on garlic toast with mushrooms basically) and both were awesome. We will return.
