This restaurant has been here in one guise or another for ages. It is situated next to the ferry wharf and has great views of the bay. It is decorated in wild colours and sells cakes, pastries and gnomes. The menu is small and distinctly Italian with the usual entrees and mains and a few specials. We ordered an antipasto for four with some breads. It was way too big for and entree but filled with the usual meats, cheese and vegetables. The accompanying bread was over cooked and almost inedible. For mains one ordered lamb mince, another pork mince in iceberg lettuce leaves (Italian san choi bow) both of which we deemed excellent by our friends. My wife and I ordered the risotto which had very little seafood, just 3 smallish prawns, about half a dozen muscles and a somewhat weird tasting risotto. Not recommended. We called it quits and went home for coffee and cake. The wine we ordered was rather a poor chardonnay and certainly not worth the price. I had beer.Service was rushed as the place was full for Saturday lunch and a bit cursory. The restaurant was very noisy and conversation with our friends almost impossible.Perhaps I ordered unwisely but I will not be going back.Thankyou for your feedback tho it seems very confusing!!! Firstly we are not âdistinctly Italianâ we are Australian with a middle eastern flair in our menu hence âlabne zaatar sumac Fatoush felafelâ clearly written on our menu! 2ndly I served you and you ordered a beer as you did not want wine! So it had nothing to do with the Chardonnay taste as it was a beer you went straight too! We are a small local cafe and offer a limited variety of wine and beers as we do not open at night and we choose not to carry a large wine selection as it would not fit our trading hours! Iâm sorry we are being reviewed negatively for running a successful business that was at full capacity on a Saturday lunch it may suit you better to pack some sandwiches (and lots of seafood) and pack a tally and head to your local park and sit somewhere with your friends (that is very quiet) so you can enjoy a lunch that isnât to big or âItalianâ?????? Peace and love M

Nestled near the foundation of Sydney Harbour Bridge is "Kirribilli Village Cafe & Ristorante." A bright casual corner cafe and restaurant that's always bustling, it is set up with alfresco tables that creates an ideal place to have breakfast, lunch or di
After seeing Vivid from the harbour bridge, had the wonderful pleasure to pop in for some excellent dinner. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the local patrons included us if we were family. My wife had lamb shanks wonderfully prepared and I spaghetti marinara. Both were served quickly and efficiently. Definite place to go back too.

Kitchen closes at 3pm Monday - Friday & 3:30pm on weekends. Social Brew Cafe - something of an oasis of good food and drinks in Pyrmont. Where, letâs face it, the cafe options arenât as abundant as one would like. Which isnât to say weâd just head there o
We came here for a late breakfast after checking the reviews on TripAdvisor and werenât disappointed. It does get very busy and we booked a table which Iâd recommend. We still had to wait a bit on arrival for our table but the staff were very attentive and we were seated pretty quickly. Food was delicious and came out promptly. The juices are great (particularly the option to have them spiked)and taste fresh. Would definitely return!

Stopped here for a quick family breakfast on Good Friday when a lot of other places were closed. We struck lucky. The service was quick and friendly. The breads are made onsite so are lovely and fresh. The granola was also extremely fresh served with yoghurt and fruit compote. A great little find.

The rocks cafe The Rocks Cafe is one of The Rocks' favourite icons. It offers a truly European dining experience just opposite the MCA on George Street. The Cafe spans two floors and combines the best of modern Australian architecture with a traditional b
Excellent choice for dinner in the rocks. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was great. The food was cooked well and tasted good. Had fish and chips which was really nice and the chicken stir fry which was good. Starters and desserts were also very tasty.A great find in the centre.

We stopped here for lunch on a busy Sunday when the Rocks Markets were on. There was a lot of selection and we enjoyed our sandwich and wrap and people watching. Found the prices to be great, and it was quite busy. Most don't stay long though so a table will open up.You seat yourself and order and pay at the counter and then they bring food to you.
