Visited for a special occasion, booked in advance.Warm welcome by all staff.Enjoyed the duck risotto, lots of duck in the dish.Szechuan crusted kangaroo was tender and juicy,Wilted Zucchini Flower, King Brown Mushrooms with Asian Glaze was a good compliment to the meat.Loved the dessert, nougat and hazelnut icecream. Also tasted the Peach and mango souffle.Nice generous serve. There was fresh bread coming around so for those who do not choose an entree there a few bread varieties and butter to enjoy.
After the meal we went for a walk around the place and found it very interesting.Nice spot for that group photo.will return for another special treat:-)

We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant. Great authentic atmosphere. I had Paneer Makhani and my fellow diner had Palak Paneer. They were both large servings and totally delicious, especially the Paneer Makhani with its tomato based sauce. I usually only eat mild curries and sometimes at Indian restaurants they vary with some that I'm only just able to get down, but this was perfect. Even my husband who eats medium curries loved it. We also had an Aloo Kulcha Naan and a plain Naan. They were up there with the best we've ever eaten. Dishes that others ordered emerging from the kitchen looked equally delicious and were beautifully presented. The service was impeccable. We'll definitely come back again and recommend it!

Went there all the way from Bondi to celebrate my birthday with their fancy milkshakes. Not only the milkshakes were delicious but also looked so amazing! The waitress Stephanie have even organized for me a birthday plate with candles in marshmallows. Absolutely amazing experience ❤❤

Very enjoyable meal with plenty to eat, the servings here are very generous if I went again probably wouldnt go for an entree OR maybe 2 entree sizes instead of an entree and main, having said that my husband didnt have the edge taken off his appetite with his entree as I did. Great restaurant for couples and families alike.

Came here with high expectations as a Japanese friend recommended this place
We ordered a little of everything
Sushi: a little better than other places but nothing stood out
The eel didn't have much taste
The fish egg sushi was very salty
Sashimi was nice but standard stuff
Tempura and Tofu were standard stuff
The place is small so you better book ahead
Prices are what I expected
Food came out a little faster than expected

We enjoyed a lunch of salmon penne which was delicious, notable for its fresh ingredients and flavour. We were surprised how many others were lunching here mid-week given that the restaurant is right on the highway and you’d need local knowledge or a recommendation to find it. We loved the ambience: vases full of old worlde type flowers, lettuce in bowls on the tables, floor to ceiling book cases, crates of veggies at the counter. We could imagine happily lingering over a coffee and cake on a wet morning while browsing through the books. Staff were attentive and friendly. As the restaurant is only a few doors from the local cinema they probably do very well of an evening. So it would be worthwhile booking a table, which we’ll do for lunch next time as they do get busy.

Dined there with a group of friends and generally we enjoyed the meal and the night despite the poor service. I had the terrine and the spatchcock . Both were excellent. However the wine list was exorbitant for a local suburban restaurant. The food cost were also pretty pricey. Having just returned from 5 weeks in Italy where, in the many restaurants we dined in, the service was generally excellent, the food was delightful and reasonably priced and the wine was plentiful and also very reasonably priced. In comparison Café Lyon just did not make it.

Love Korean drama and look like I have started to like Korean food after a few try.
We had the BBQ, love the marinated beef ribs. Wrap it with lettuce plus the side dish, fish cake, just yummy.
Comes with many choices of side dishes and top up are free.
Caution, make your reservation, otherwise you will waiting to get a table. We book ours for 6:30pm but when we arrived at the restaurant, it was already full.

The Restaurant offers a perfect setting for a romantic dinner for two or a quite evening in with your friends, making you feel just at home.
We ordered the Rogan Josh, Kashimiri rice and a few other dishes and each one was delicious, with lots of flavour. I find it quite hard to find an Indian restaurant that does authentic, tasty Indian food, but this one does!!! The service was impeccable and it was decorated nicely. I highly recommend it!

Great food, exceptional service and the food is consistently good.
The owner, and the staff are welcoming and friendly and they know the art of great service. Orders are taken and the entree arrives quickly. The main course arrives at the appropriate time and is traditionally a large meal, but all the food there is so well cooked and so delicious.
The Deserts and home made and delicious.
The wine selection is good and I had a beer this time, and on a hot day, it was so refreshing.
I have written on this restaurant several times over the years, but it is always so damn good. The bill is very reasonable for the quality and amount of food.
My only suggestion is don't be put off by the first impression, its in a little shop with some outdoor dining (undercover). Go and enjoy at possibly our favorite restaurant
