We visited midweek, midday. Restaurant was nearly empty. The food for 4 guests was disgusting.Looked good, but tasted no good. For this type of price, you can expect fresh, tasty food all the time. The pizza had no taste but a taste, like rotten fish smells. The "Schnitzel " was done in the fryer, big, but it did not taste good. The sauce was full of peppercorns and needed refining.The served soup was cold and not of much taste.We are customers with this restaurant and previous place since long years. In my opinion, thequality moved in the wrong direction.

We stopped there on a sunny sunday. First question was "Do you have a Reservation?". No welcome. I answered "no". no reply and it took some time to get the menu. After this followed a long time of waiting. Also the neigbors on the next table had some Problem with the slow and unfriendly Service. Steak Dubrovnik was average (not really warm - but I scared!!) , the pan-dish "Sebastian" was nice and the kids-dish was ok. But the slow and unfriendly Service spoiled the whole visit.

Ich war heute mit einer Gruppe von Ford Mustang GT Freundin hier. Nach einer gelungenen Ausfahrt haben wir bei ihnen gegessen und getrunken. Essen und Trinken war sehr lecker und mit Liebe serviert. Hier kann man Lecker Essen und Trinken. Freundlicher Service und normale Preise. Es hat sich gelohnt bei ihnen den Tag zu beenden.

Really good restaurants are in short supply in this region (Oberbergische Land) of Germany. There are a few but far between and not always easy to find.Waldbroel can now be proud of the highly interesting restaurant 'Manufaktur', Manufaktur does not serve the usual German fare and does not cater to those who want to eat till they drop (which is one reason why quite a few people in this country are overweight).Run by a young cook and his staff, Manufaktur offers a variety of meat and fish dishes (entrees as well as main courses), His creativity in cooking is remarkable, I do not know of any restaurant in the Oberbergische Land where you would be equally surprised with presentation as well as quality.Waldbroel may not be the most interesting town to visit (although, with Panarbora they have recently added quite an attraction:) but Manufaktur is a worthwhile reason to visit the town.Having visited Manufaktur several times now, I can only say that it is improving with age (and both cook and staff are still very young:). I am looking forward to more visits!Reserve a table and enjoy your dinner!

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend and it was very good idea to have dinner every evening at the restaurant. The food was superb and well presented and the service was fantastic, nice people very friendly.
