Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Bonn. Though probably best known as the capital of West Germany from 1949 to 1990 (and of reunified Germany until 1999), Bonn actually has a history dating back to the 1st century BC. Roman soldiers were stationed here and the largest known Roman fort was built at Bonn. In medieval times, the town gained prominence when the Archbishop of Cologne transferred his seat to Bonn. The city's most famous son is Ludwig van Beethoven, born in 1770 at Bonngasse, where a museum now honors him.

Exclusive and easygoing. Japanese dumplings, miso salmon with yuzu turnips, sorbet with Szechuan pepper and traditional nigiris and makis go down very well with the business clientele and Japanese food fans. The dining area is light and airy with cream-co
A modern restaurant very high level service and food. No real atmosphere but food is so good !Better to ask for the tables near the large glass walls on the river (far) Try the Japanese classical course and the Kobe beef mix, just awesome But this has a price very high price ...Dear Chm-ontheroad, thank you for your Feedback. We had dinner here, sat outside on a nice terrace. The service (by owner?) was outstanding and attentive. Restaurant has a nice selection of wines by the glass. The food is not expensive and they have a nice selection: apps, salads, meats, risotto and pasta. Also several vegetarian choices. Recommend it! It is a little walk from the centre, past the new city hall.

This japanese restaurant, located just outside the city center, received very positive critics on the internet. Unfortunately I cannot subscribe to these. My experience was mediocre. Trying to reserve with the help of a form on their website didnât succeed: no reaction at all. Anyhow we decided to just go there. Then the food: with my family we enjoyed some sushi plate as a starter. This was fresh, nicely served on large plate and absolutely the star of the dinner. My recommendation: eat sushi in this restaurant. As a main course we ordered ramen and yakisoba. The ramen was okay-ish, a bit more spice and taste wouldnât harm the experience. The yakisoba with salmon was very disappointing, the sauce was so sweet, it was like a desert. Really disgusting. The yakisoba with chicken was way better, but not worth the price, it is a dish similar to what is offered at takeaway wok restaurants in railway stations. My final judgment: 3 out of 5. If you go there, sushi is the dish to take.
