Restaurants in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock
We have been at Vivo quite a few times in the past 2 years. The tapas are delicious and served really hot & fresh. The service is friendly but a bit too casual: they serve across the table, put trays withbeverages on the table, do not serve properly from the right side, took a steaw out of one drink (juice) to put it in another drink (sprite) right in front of us, took bread out of one basket to put it into the second basket (for space-serving reasons) by hand (an absolute no-go in service for hygienic reasons) and charged extra money for mayonnaise to go with the patatas for a child. The furniture is outdated and the chairs (in covers) are uncomfortable and not very stylish. Decoration could be a lot more tasteful and Spanish or altogether of a higher quality.Again: food was great but I do expect a bit more of a professional attitude of the staff who all seemed to be on a side-job occupation but not professionally trained.

Pizza
La Trattoria is a fantastic Italian restaurant with classic "Italian" decor and menu full of wonderful and varied dishes. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. A well thought out wine list provides the perfect accompaniment to any meal. If you visit with children there is a small play area. Fresh bread, black olives and taramasalata is brought to the table and is a mouthwatering start to any meal. The meals are perfectly portioned and are seasoned to perfection. The Carbonara is a particular favourite. The spinach and ricotta cannelloni is packed with flavour and the steak I ordered was perfectly cooked and the Gorgonzola sauce was a pleasure.I cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. All in all an wonderful evening was had by all and I will definitely come back.

Our restaurant stands for a culinary journey through central Italy in the traditional ambience of the Bielefeld Hawk's height. The traditional house welcomes you in its three restaurant rooms where a hundred-year history meets Mediterranean influence. The
This is a really good place to eat and something of a gem, hidden away on the ridge over Bielefeld. Def worth a visit but be aware, the menu is only in German. I will be going again in summer when the terrace will be amazing but I suspect it will wise it book then.

We went out for dinner with some wine in a group of three. As it was freezing cold, we took a seat in the inside. The decoration was meant to be Spanish-Italian-general Mediterranean. The efforts were not sufficient for converting the medieval local German building into the Mediterranean café. We sat on rather narrow tables. The food on offer sounded good, but after the large starter platter for sharing, three main courses and desserts, we still felt hungry. By the time the bill arrived we could make ourselves familiar with their rather steep prices. We spent almost £30 per person (some 35â¬) on food and a glass of wine each, so I would hope to feel satisfied (or drunk at least). The orders in more detail: the wine was nice with prices suggesting excellent. I had the red housewine (light-ish Spanish red) which is good, but does not come with strong flavours. The starters were of good quality and served in small ramekin like pots. In general, the food was very salty but they still managed to produce a balanced taste. The main courses came without sides. The two meat portions looked very small and were confirmed as about 3 oz plus sauce. I had the fish-of-the-day which was a swordfish filet (estimated 4 or 5 oz) served without sauce but with some salad. The fish was fried with thyme and quite a bit of salt. This produced a nice texture and good flavours, but again the salt was at the upper boundary (personally, I'd do more thyme, less salt). The salt on the salad was just too much (it could do with some dressing rather than just salt and oil). The strong food was just too much for the light-ish housewine. Desserts were served in small ramekins again and were okay.In sum, the place is good for some (expensive) nibbles and drinks. It is not the place for taking someone out for dinner or starting an evening out with food.

I had a lovely dinner with clients here recently, and it was a very lovely experience. The fish was excellently prepared, and though I was totally satisfied with my own selection, I couldn't help casting a longing glance at everyone else's plate. Though we sat outside - the weather was wonderful - I did get a look inside the restaurant proper with its open kitchen. Definitely worth a repeat visit!
