Find out what Japanese restaurants to try in Dortmund. Dortmund has become a center of high-tech industry, but back in the day, it was one of Germany's first brewing centers, and Dortmunder beer is definitely worth tasting in a local bar. Visit the Reinoldkirche or the Marienkirche, or venture south of town to the ruins of Hohensyburg Castle. December is an especially festive time to visit Dortmund—one of Germany's biggest Christmas markets takes over the center of town.

A very clean and good Sushi restaurant , a bit of all kind of Sushi is available here , the system is a bit strange where you order from a device on your table , and then the device is telling you when your order will be on your table , cool , but in my opinion you loss the human touch , any how back to the food , the fish is very fresh and nicely done , the prices are good , and the service is also good

Arrived at 8pm and the restaurant was quiet so no delay or waiting to be served. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Menu choice is excellent and quite vast so we went for a bento box, miso and teriyaki chicken. Overall it was very good and the sushi and sashimi was excellent and so so fresh. Overall we enjoyed our evening and had no complaints. Would definitely revisit

Food was well prepared but it is not anything out of the ordinary. Still I had a good time and the place is quiet enough to have a conversation. Also the neighbourhood is quite pretty.

So far i ate there 4 times. I guess a lot has been said about how it works, but basically it is a better version of all-you-can-eat, where you can order a certain number of rounds with 5 items each. They also add some new items from time to time, so it doesn't get boring. The quality is really good which i appreciate a lot, since i am a chef myself. Ice-cream is amazing, wish one could eat more ;-). Now to, in my opinion, the hugest problem of the place: service. The second time i stopped by was actually my birthday, which i mentioned on the phone when i made reservations. There were 4 of us and we ordered drinks, one of which was a bottle of wine. Now the service lady had no idea what she was doing whatsoever, couldn't open the bottle, then broke the cork and clearly had no clue. One of my friends offered to do it for her which she declined and kept trying to open the bottle. After finally managing it she just poured the wine and left. Now i do understand that it is not a 'high-end' establishment, but usually you let someone to try the wine first! Just saying. Then there was not a notice of me having a birthday, not a little whatever and so on. Disappointing... Next time i brought friends with me who didn't speak the language. As soon as we were seated there was the same lady (oh no i thought), asking us what we would like to drink. I politely asked for an ipad, and she went: do you REALLY need an Ipad to order a drink?! Frankly i almost exploded! And almost yelled: yes, we do, since half of the people don't speak the language!!! They do need to do something about that asap! Otherwise considering food can recommend.
