Solch einen Italiener findet man nur noch selten. Tolle Pizzen faire Preise. Auch sind die Gerichte ein geschmackliches Erlebnis. Weiter so!
Weitermachen!

I went there looking for a good pizza and I didn't regret my choice! I had the pizza "salame piccante" and it was simply amazing! I'm Italian and I'm very picky, I didn't have any expectations, I was just simply hungry...but when I had a taste of this pizza, I was amazed and shocked by the quality of the ingredients! The service was excellent. It was an enjoyable experience dealing with such a happy, polite and, most of all, competent and professional waitress. I think her name was Maya, such an adorable girl that made my dining experience better than what I thought it could be. Thank you, Pizzeria Toto and thank you, Maya, for the lovely evening in Hagen. I'll see you soon...TschüÃ
Pizza und Pasta sehr lecker. Preise ebenfalls moderat. Für mich einer der besten Ital. Restaurants in Hagen. Die Pizza ist knusprig und reich belegt. Nudeln ebenfalls lecker und reichhaltig. Ambiente ist typisch italienisch. Klein aber gemütlich. Sauber und schön dekoriert.

A typical Italian restaurant. This one was bright and airy part of a small group of restaurants that included a Greek restaurant, a sports bar and so on, all dotted around a small area surrounded by trees. There was even a theatre so ideal for pre-theatre dining. The food and service were good. I ordered minestrone soup and a pasta dish, plus a glass of red wine. They allow dogs, which I found a bit off-putting, but there was only one dog and he didn't bother anybody. Actually, there might have been two...

We visited this restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews, after visiting a museum in Hagen. The owner welcomed us as if we were part of the family! The restaurant is unexpectedly cosy and colourful, which is in contrast with the grey-ish residential area. Not more that ~35 seating places. We had a shared starter (antipasto misto), which looked very good on the website. This was good, although a bit small for 2 (and for the price), additionally odd ingredients such as surimi have no place in an italian starter... As main courses, we both chose from the daily specials: I had a pasta with italian salsiccia (with fennel seed), and my husband had the recommended lamb with rosemary sauce: this was to die for: tender and delicious, and came with one of his favourite vegetables: chard (=coste). My pasta had a very nice tomato sauce and the italian sausage was fresh and authentic, but didn't blow me away. We then shared a tiramisú, which was really excellent. The house wine was also nice. All in all a very nice evening, we would love to try the pizza if we are in the area another time.
