This is a proper Italian restaurant with an Italian owner and the wonderful Italian attitude to customers which embraces them warmly. The service is friendly and efficient, the food arrives in good time and has always been tasty. The menu ranges from the traditional pizza and pasta dishes to fish and meat as well as vegetarian. Unlike so many, this restaurant actually caters for those little wishes like "easy on the oil" etc. and if at all possible, special requests are fulfilled. The portions are generous without being silly and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant has ample seating inside but also offers some lovely tables outdoors. You are next to a quiet country road and only yards from the Dortmund-Ems canal. A short walk from the restaurant is the Hiltruper See which is well worth visiting as it is lovely and peaceful (apart from the ducks and geese which often oblige with a fair bit of quacking and honking.. You could go for walks or ride a bike - Münster is extremely cycle-friendly and most roads have a dedicated cycle track. My wife and I go to Münster 3-4 times a year and we always seem to spend one evening here. What is it that brings us back? Above all, the friendliness of the staff, especially the owner who manages to remember us and treats us like old friends.A reservation is highly recommended even for weekdays, especially when the weather is good as the local people tend to fill the place - always a good sign. Highly recommended.

Visited with friend for lunch end of May then attended Dell Isola stand at Schloss Park for Muenster verwoehnt festival. Finally, quick lunch whilst in town. Everything as always to high standard, top quality dishes at reasonable rates, great selection of wines. Great and friendly service. Muenster verwoehnt was bit special, great selection of unusual dishes. Great at restaurant now garden is open. Hopefully, it will be a continued feature of the Restaurant.

Med Café is one of many restaurants along Münster´s harbor area. It´s run by an Italian and like most Italian restaurant owners, he proudly speaks his native language, when greeting or saying goodbye to his guests.I have eaten in this place many times and have had some luck, generally, with what food I´ve ordered. This hasn´t always been the case; in fact the last time I was there, in the company of a very good lady friend of mine, neither the food nor the service was particularly good. The pizza I ordered was far too salty and my friend´s vegetarian dish was somewhat, tasteless! On the menu the pizza described was cheese, ham and salami â and this is exactly what I received! Not a shred of vegetable, fruit or even a small salad. Hence the too-salty taste.Though the waitresses and waiter are superficially friendly, enough, I get the strong impression, that none of them earn too much money for their work. They are neither observant as to whether a guest has a drink or food request, nor do any of them seem to care, how their guests´ comfort is supported! The low-lighted restaurant doesn´t give one too much chance of clearly examining the menu. Depending on where you sit, one cannot make out the written âspecial offers of the dayâ chart-like board. Finally, Med Café is especially frequented by many guests during the summer months. I suspect the true reason for the many guests is, their related businesses. I have seen lawyers, musicians, singers and designers at Med Café, and naturally, they talk about walk, development of their work and especially, connect with and to each other´s business. It is my strong hope, that my review is read by Med Café´s owner and he realises, that some consideration into more professional service, better-tasting food and better lighting, is invested.

My experience at vapiano in münster was great. The food was prepared right in front of me and the staff was very friendly. The interiour is cozy and the location is right in the city center. Prices werent expensive either. Iâd recommend this to anyone who likes italian food or who just wants a quick snack.

Visited I Galletti with a few friends, including one over from Australia on his first visit to Europe. The food selection very good, including daily specials. Wine selection is limited, but those on offer are good. Staff provide excellent and friendly service.

We got the table without booking on Saturday evening. Antipasto was okay, could have been better. Main courses were excellent (steak and lamb from the grill). I got first something else than I ordered but the waitress fixed the situation quickly.

Caputo's ability to make fusion cuisine is admirable. Sometime the dish is a bit pretentious, but most of the time he hits the right target. Great selection of wine, especially those from Valtellina where Caputo had lived for some years. The downside: the price. If one goes for a menu (usually well designed, with several courses), could save some money, but beverages and not included and the more the courses, the more the wine glasses...

We went here for lunch and it was very crowded for good reason. the food is excellent and the staff quite friendly. There are tables outside in the sun, casual tables and more high end tables in the front. The dishes are reasonably priced, but you get a lot. There is a daily special which is particularly good. the kitchen is open in 1500.

This is THE Italian restaurant in Münster.... so packed on Friday night. Service is absolutely friendly, but with so many diners, it took a while to get the food. All was forgotten once it arrived though. Great starteres, wonderfiul pizza and a good selection of affordable wines.

It's crazy to find such a great Neapolitan style pizzeria in Münster. Fantastic quality in all the ingredients, and the crust is outstanding. I just went for the first time and sat in the outdoor area, which was really nice. I already know I'll be here a lot and recommending it to all my friends.
