The owners of Enn de Spoul restaurant were very welcoming to an American who does not speak German. Fortunately, they and their staff speak excellent English. I know enough German to decipher most of the menu and found on it what I was looking for: Jagerschnitzel. It was very good. The restaurant is clearly one frequented by locals; not on the tourist route. There was a group of regulars at the bar on a lively Friday night. Be sure to try the Rhenania Altbier; it is one of the best. Prices are very reasonable and geared toward the local people (cash only, no credit cards). I will make every effort to return for the good food and pleasant hospitality.

We were here for a dinner and enjoyed it very much. The authentic local food was very well served and the service was excellent, with a little joke on the lips. It was easy to feel comfortable in the very charming atmosphere.

I ordered traditional German seasonal fare: goose breast with red cabbage and potato dumplings and was rather disappointed. I had much better versions of this dish elsewhere. The goose breast was covered with a sauce, which I really didn't like. Anyway, the service was friendly and quick, a helping from the salad bar was included, a free slivovitz was offered.... but would I go there again? I'm not really sure.

What a gem of a place, tucked into the Tennis Club in lovely Willich. Chef Frank has an obvious passion and talent for creating both traditional and innovative plant-based dishes to satisfy every type of diner. Down to the details: nut-based Parmesan, top vegan ingredients, fresh produce, and the unique, intimate setting of the tennis club, all create a perfect eating experience at Frankâs Live. I will surely be a regular customer.

The restaurant can be found in a secluded and quiet location. Ample free parking spaces are available. The menu offers a wide variety of interesting German dishes. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is accessible for the disabled.

Stylish restaurant, very elegantly decorated. The menu is not large but enough to offer a decent choice. I ordered the roasted duck leg and breast, perfectly cooked and presented; the breast was one of the most delicious I have ever tried. The people I was having dinner together also had the same opinion about the food. The sore point of the restaurant is the owner. He couldn't stop telling his jokes and stories everytime he had to come at the table for the whole dinner. Also, making fun of the customers with an arrogant attitude is not really the best strategy to make them enjoy the evening. I am really sorry to say this, but that's my experience. I give 3/5 because the food is really good, but because of the owner I'm not sure I would come here again.

Out for dinner with my boss. Very good fish, great taste. Maybe the price is not so cheap (I'm Italian, so I just compare to my country) but quality is very high. Lobster soup: in my heart forever.
