The waitress was rather bossy; like a stuffy school teacher, she asked us to hang up our jackets, which were on the backs of our chairs. A good waitress would have done this for us! This attitude continued for the rest of the evening, although she made several mistakes. Delivery from the kitchen was very slow...were they understaffed? The food was less than average: dry pork steak, burnt sautéed potatoes, overcooked potato fritters. Prices were on the high side for this kind of rustic food and drink. A rough open Merlot for â¬6.20 (0.2 l) is expensive for Kürten Biesfeld! The acoustics in the "new" extension are very lively. A group of young men were having a raucous time and we found their loud laughter disturbing. This restaurant is clearly trying to be something special, but they will have to up their game drastically if they want to succeed.

A great place to meet friends, family or have a casual meal with business colleagues. Menu is extensive and most menu items are based on german pancakes. We had pancakes with chanterrelles /Pfifferlinge, pancakes with salmon, pancake with cherries, pancakes with cinnamon apples, pancake soup. We had a group of 10-12 people, a mix of business friends and 3 children. All were served timely and with friendly service.

Süffiges Festbier dazu, was will ein hungriger Wanderer mehr?!

The standard of food is extremely high, with interesting standard menu and always innovative new dishes to chose from. An excellent choice of wines too.

Hotel Meyer is a small old style hotel with a lovely restaurant. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location 50 minutes from cologne (by bus and train) in a wonderful landscape with lots of opportunities for walking, cycling and running. The room we stayed in, was a good size and clean. Tiny bathroom, but has everything you need and a good hot shower, plenty of hot water. Friendly staff, nothing to much trouble...will stay again in the future, as fell in love with the area. (oh and food was very good in the restaurant).

The venue is located in the country side of the âBergisches Landâ. The restaurant has two inside dining rooms which are decorated with devotional objects of the region. The menu is very short and is composed of roasted chicken with French fries and cologne beer. With it we had Koelsch (the Cologne beer). The chicken is good .The service kind and quick.

Welcome "In der Delling". You have arrived at a remarkable spot in the middle of the Bergisches Land. You can enjoy the peace and the nature and forget the life between the once-well-kept half-timbered houses and a beautiful, historical church. In our ren
So far a hidden Juwel: A bit of the main roads you find the restaurant, cafe and small hotel. Sitting outside and having a fabulous selection of food: owner is Indian and his wife a bakery and whatever you select is delicious and prices definitely don't harm. If you are planning walking trip or a ride with a bike that is a beautiful place directly beneath the old church.

There are not enough superlatives to describe Zur Mühle . I have visited this restaurant many times and the food is exquisite, the service is top class and the ambience is delightful. It is a very high class restaurant with a very high standard. If you are not lucky enough to live in Kürten it is very much worth taking a drive. If you want eat at the weekend remember to book ahead.
