I had a business lunch today at Wilkens Gastwerk and it was a great experience. The restaurant is nicely modern and updated and the food is fantastic. I had the potato soup and a small salad, and then for a main I had the special veal Vienerschnitzel. All were excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is located within the hotel and without a GPS not easy to find since it is in the country side but one of the best place to eat in the Kerpen area. The service was fantastic and the food very good .We ate mainly local food wild bore and deer. Both dishes were well prepared and tasty. Our waiter was very friendly with a good English .You will find a menu in English ,was nice for us since our German was poor.At the end of the meal they offer the local brandy on the house.Accept credit cards for payments.

We were looking for a place for diner and coincidentially found this place. After looking at their menu, we decided to go in.Their menu includes lots of typical German and local dishes, such as Schnitzels, Schweinehaxen, Sauerbraten and pan dishes. The food is really good.Prices are moderate, so the value for money is very good as well.Service is friendly. My rating for this place would be semewhere ibetween 'very good' and 'excellent', let's say 9/10 or in Germany 1.5. But since Tripadvisor does not know these ratings, I had to round it off to 5/5.

A wonderfully warm welcome awaits you in the quirky WunderBar Konsum. We were there for a book launch and it couldn't have been better. great food and drink and a brilliant atmosphere.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the owner and the waiter for their very friendly welcome. The restaurant was packed, the menu card was short, which denotes freshness, and the food I chose was excellent and original. As I am often in this town for business, I will certainly come back to this welcoming restaurant.

Truly a great gourmet restaurant with pretty view to the park which lays behind the castle. The service was excellent, especialy the restaurant manager who is also the sommelier. We had 3 courses icl 2 side courses which well thought. combined and served. The house-apperitiv was yummy too. The menu is shown with description on my photos.Ms Julia Komp, the youngest Michelin Starred Female Chef, brought us the refined selection of Pralines. A nice way to greet her guests! This restaurant offers events regularly. The arrangement costs around 110-150 ⬠without pairing wine.
