We love this place. Their food is local cuisine but they do it very well. Their schnitzels and steaks are well prepared and super delicious and their salad dressing is out of this world. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and size of food served. Always very busy you best go early if you don't have a reservation.

My wife and I enjoyed our third meal here and saw no reason to look elsewhere. The food is excellent and the service is also excellent. We will return

We ordered the âLeberkaese mit Bratkartoffeln und Sauerkrautâ. The potatoâs were swimming in oil, they were out of the package and not cooked through. They were pale and not like they should be. The Leberkaese was average and burned on one side. Sauerkraut was also out of a can. When I received the plate I hesitated and thought of not eating. But than I thought I am overreacting a bit. After 1 or two hours after the meal I got quite heavy winds. The food was not good for me. STAY AWAY!Summarizing. Cheap ingredients. Nothing is fresh. This is not a kitchen but a reheating of packaged food. A disgrace to call this a restaurant.

A sleek and modern style bar with a nice mixed clientele, the barman Michael was excellent and spoke English perfectly, even spoke some Dutch!!A great choice of meals at great value, and the portions were very large. I had a mixed grill of three meats, pork, beef and turkey all were cooked to perfection, served with green beans, mushrooms and excellent fries too.A great choice of beers, with the barman Michael again being very knowledgeable and helpful. I met some lovely people who felt like friend and had a wonderful evening and left feeling a very happy customer!

This small restaurant at the end of Werther Strasse in Bad Münstereifel was very welcoming to us. It was cold and windy, but inside very warm and very cosy.Very friendly staff, many local German guests who were also friendly. The restaurant is absolutely not "chique".It serves all kinds of local specialties, and also Russian specialties. My wife had a pasta with goulash, and I had a goulash-soup. Both were excellent!I'm sure we'll be coming back here.

About a 10 minute walk from the old town this hotel has a friendly family run feel with a traditional old rural character with a mostly dark wooden and stone interior. Facilities are basic but comfortable and well maintained. Restaurant we only tried for breakfast which was the usual continental food but good quality and choice. Warning - no English spoken so if you do want to converse have the phrase book handy unless your language skills are better than ours!

Food excellent, service excellent and not at all expensive. For a group of guys from England, we were made to feel very welcome and all staff were very hospitable. Language was not an issue either, as most staff spoke some English which made life easier for the non German speakers amongst us. Next time we visit we will definitely try and stay there as well! And the Wolf in the bar just makes this place a little more interesting!

Just a good restaurant for decent German style food. Friendly staff. Beers are nice, served in nice stone cup.

We were staying right across the gate so this was an obvious place to try. We did however walk around the city. However all the other places open on that evening looked like cheap eats.Se there we went, and we did manage to have a pretty decent dinner at a reasonable price on that evening.Place was pretty full but they found us a table and service was still reasonably quick. In December, dining outside was not an option.

Visited for lunch. They cater for vegans which weâve found to be unusual in Germany. Friendly service from the owner. Paniniâs & pasta were delicious. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the nice review. We are very happy that you enjoyed it with us. See you next time - best regards, Julia and the Team from Tapferes Schneiderlein
