Things to do in Bad Laasphe
Ingesamt empfehlenswert.
Delicious and beautifully presented food. Staff speak good English and are fun and polite. A lovely atmosphere, can recommend to all!

Highly recommended if you look for good and inexpensive food around Biedenkopf. Be ready to be visually checked out by the locals on the neighbouring table though.

A nice (large!) dinner of pork and spatzle (and several drinks) before the show...Perched up above the ramparts, a fine view ..Good food, good drinks, excellent service ...Absolutely no complaints...We went back AFTER the show ... http://kurtofgerolstein.blogspot.de/2013/08/hi-jinx-in-hesse.html .. which says it all

Very tasty food for affordable prices. We both eat soup, main course and dessert. It is not cheap but the food is fresh and very good!

I stopped here for coffee and must agree with other reviews that service is poor and food no better. After I left and crossed the street I noticed that the place is for sale. Perhaps the new operators will bring some life and good food back to this place.

Restaurant is not the most attractive and modern interior, but the food is great, the service is friendly, and the prices are really good. My wife and I had panierte aubergine as starters, rump steaks (I recommend the steinpilzsahne sauce) and wild ragout as main course and some ice cream with waldfruchten as dessert. Everything was great and comes in HUGE portions. Price was 55 ⬠all in!The place also offers a biergarten in the back (away from main road) which looks really great for a summer night drink.

Had a Tarte Flambee + Pommes. Comfortable, not too noisy. was too cold to sit out on the terrace. Informal. Small menu with snacks and easy meals. Good beer (Bosch).

We were taken to this local hotel restaurant by our German hosts for a nice dinner for 4 on a Sunday evening. The waiter wore traditional lederhosen and was more than friendly and professional. The food, while very good, was quite expensive, as was a German Riesling wine. Two opted for the fixed menu at Euro 59 each, while one person had a Carpaccio and another an octopus. Recommended for a fine meal out, but bring a full wallet.
