We went to this restaurant because someone recommended it to us. The restaurant's decoration is very traditional German. The staff is friendly and the price is average. When we dined there, the restaurant was packed with people so we thought it was a good sign that the food was good. However it was not the case. We ordered pork tenderloin, chicken breast filet with tropical fruit. The salad tasted awful. The main dish overcooked, the pineapple old & a bit rotten. We will definitely not going back to this restaurant.

Also eher vom Typ bessere Pommesbude.

We had a wonderful dinning experience. It is perfect the way it is as it truly captures the essence of a gasthaus. Very friendly greeting at the door and the owner must have been around 5 times asking all the diners how things were. Very good service and the food arrived in good time, pipping hot.The wienerschnitzel Princess was very good. The veal was nicely done with a nice crunch on the outside but tender inside. I loved the idea of spargel on top with melted cheese, although the spears were a bit overcooked. Great side of frites, more in the style of Dutch fries than the thinner ones more common in Germany. The trout was also cooked nicely. A bit of a coating on the skin was okay but it tasted better without it. The steamed taters were well cooked, i.e. not mushy, just right. Oops, forgot to mention the feldsalat to start. MmmmmGreat atmosphere, very nice service.

Fantastic restaurant...We've been here several times and I must say they serve freshly prepared & authentic Italian food for a reasonable price and the quality is always good! We absolutely loved every single dish; delicious shrimp salad for starter or pasta with seashells, pasta seafood, pizza with spicy sausages and vegetables, calzone and the delicious gnocchi with sun-dried tomatoes, pesto and spicy cheese... oh and the Pasta Dello Chef is too die for...Sooo Yummy! The local house wine is also very good and very fairly priced...also the 0.5 Ltr. Erdinger beer for just 3,50 is a absolute joke! And when you ask for the bill, you always get a extra treat...a glass of sambuca, grappa or ammaratto...they really do like to pay good attention to good service. I can highly recommend this restaurant!Extra Note; We always ask for a seat in the middle section, it's a lot more cozy and comfortable..... compared to the front of the restaurant..there it's a bit more noisy, less cozy and next to the bar en kitchen...you'll see ;-)

We visited this establishment as a family group and, despite this being a Saturday and very busy with locals and a bus party, were well catered for.

Two dedicated young men doing everything to please their customers. The cook in his kitchen who regularly comes into the restaurant to explain what's cooking: the wine steward making sure you get the matching wines with your meal. A hard working couple who are no doubt enjoying what they are doing and are good at it. After the meal you can buy the wines you tasted with your food at very reasonable prices. A splendid formula! Worth trying!

The food was perfect with an elegant taste of greek cuisine. The wine that was proposed to us matched nicely with the main course. The staff was very friendly and had the needed knowledge regarding the courses and the background of them!!I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves mediterranean food!!

When we entered, the first thing that struck was the loud music. When we mention made one indicated that he could not soften. Then we ordered a meal with much too small portions especially the "zuurvlees". For three people there was a small bowl of fries with. We mentioned that to the waiter. The answer was that our perception was incorrect and that it was always so. I assume that means it was always too little ... Finally even the fact that it was May 4, a remembrance day in Holland. It is customary that at 20:00 two minutes of silence, but the music continued no one gives anything about it. For example on the largest airport of the Netherlands everything stops at that moment in case of the large respect people want to show! It is a nice location but once you're inside remains little about it. The food indeed ...

Although the fresh interior was promising, the new menu is very different.I think they aim for a less traditional Greek menu, more Mezedes (Tapas-like) approach.I expect they will attract a different group of people with that. Not sure if that's us...Thanks for your review...We are trying to overcome the standart "Greek" kitchen that is presented in Europe, and bring in more and more traditional Greek food, what we serve as Meze, what is more commen in Greece than meat and fries...I hope we will welcome you back, and impress you with our new setup..Greetings
