Walking through the beautiful Forstgarten and the hills opposite this garden it was time to take a break and what is better than to drink a coffee or tea accompanied with a "Black Forest" pie in this Altes Landhaus. There were quite some people, a cosy atmosphere but a little bit dark. The menu we got shows a number of simple dishes. For us coffee, tea and Black Forest pie was the choice of this day. The tea and coffee scored 4/5, the Pie 2/5, to creamy and not enough cherries and to little liqueur taste. Never the less a nice short rest during this very nice autumn day.
Nice place to have a dinner. Food was ok.What could be useful is the menu in english which was not available at the time of our visit.

A German friend recommended the restaurant. It has a Greek-themed menu, but also traditional German dishes. It features an excellent but moderately priced selection of wines. The restaurant is a renovated 200-year old home with key historical features preserved. My main course, See Barsch (Sea Bass) was very good. The others ordered Greek grilled meats which they also reported to be very tasty. The manager took us on a tour of the "Cellar," which is worth doing if you visit.

We decided whilst in Netherlands to pop across the border to Germany and visit Kleve and Iâm glad we wasnât disappointed. A small town which was so pretty and piecedyl and in the town centre we found Cafe Solo. A modern cafe surrounded by small fountains. The food and drink options were great and certainly not disappointed whilst sat in the sun. Certainly recommend cafe solo.

We had really good schnitzels with bratkartofeln which were done to perfection and piece of meat was so big that it took entire plate. Small salad platter was actually huge too. My small glass of German wine was very smooth (2.75 Euro...). The ambience was lovely and traditional German.Service was prompt and pleasant- we speak German, which may be helping. We could not believe when 3 main dishes with sides and incl alkohol set us for less than 50 Euros! This is fantastic value for so much good food.Sehr erfolgleich! Danke!

We ate here twice, as it is conveniently located and the food was good. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere quiet. They serve steaks, burgers and a few more traditional German dishes. Aside from the steaks, you can expect a dinner and beer to be about 15 Euros. Definitely worth a try.

We had a schnitzel diner here. The food was ok, but nothing special. The schnitzels were deep fried. I'd prefer them baked in butter. The staff was friendly, but quiet and a bit shy. I am sure there are better places in Kleve.

Since we came here the first time we keep returning, it is our we donât want too cook but are very hungry restaurant. The menu is classic Greek restaurant, but the quality is good, the prices moderate and the portions âHungry Manâ. The service is very friendly and the Ouzo is on the house. Donât expect Michelin star kinda food, but it is well prepared and the quality is very good. I mostly eat lamb, that is tender and prepared how you order it. Red is Red, Pink is Pink. This is actually a problem in a lot of restaurant. No matter how you order your beef of lamb, it is always medium. Not so here. Also try the baby calamaris, they are nice!

Dear Guests, Apart from Greek and international dishes, Restaurant Akropolis offers a friendly service and cosy mediteranean ambience right in the heart of Kleve. Treating you to our rich selection of delicacies will be a pleasure for us, and we look forw
We ate at the Akropolis while passing through Kleve. We like Greek food and have eaten it during many stays in Greece and Cyprus. The nicest thing we found with the food at the Akropolis is that it is truly authentic. The second best thing was the outstanding service. The staff are kind, helpful and attentive, and exceedingly hospitable. I would recommend the Akropolis to anyone staying in or passing through Kleve.
