Great spot in the middle of Enschede. Nice heated terrace, relaxing place to drink something or chose some nice burgers or sate or other delicious dishes from the menucard. Great spot for a break when you are shopping or prepare yourselve to drink something before you go enjoy the nightlife of Enschede. Always crowded and value for money.

We had arrived in Enschede and fancied a light lunch before exploring. Great family atmosphere and helpful staff. We chose the soup with sausage and peas also served with ham on rye. People seemed to be having a wide variety of food and drinks - most of menu is available all day and evening. We would probably have returned if we were staying longer.

Just away from the main square. Popular â people with no reservations were unlucky. Well informed on gluten-free for celiacs. Recommend: Trio of fish and Pork rack. Atmospheric interior. No rush. Dishes had unusual names but careful descriptions. Relaxed. Desserts superb.

We had a wonderful chat with the daughter of the owner and learned that she is a local and her family also owns the Molly Malone's just down the road a bit. The food was very good - I had a Shepard's pie and goulash starter, my wife the Irish stew, and my daughter the Salmon in honey. We all loved our meals and washed it all down with local beers. Very friendly spot and not too loud for conversation. Very reasonably priced

This is my favourite restaurant in Enschede. The food is excellent, the service and surroundings also. Check out their website www.restaurantdolphia.nl to see their latest menu and decor etc. When we were there it was beautiful weather and we were served drinks outside in the garden and then shown inside to our table when the food was ready. You can dine outside if you wish in the good weather. This has an elegant atmosphere but saying that our three year old was made very welcome and they had a special child menu for him. We will certainly be back again. The prices are average for a restaurant in The Netherlands but I wouldn't say a budget option.

If you like fine dining in a relaxed environment with top quality, informal staff, this is thé restaurant in Enschede you have to go. Skip the card and ask the staff to decide for you. Food is fresh plus and perfectly prepared. Different ways of cooking and a lot of pure and matching flavours without getting too complicated. Perfect for business guests, visitors, family dinners and everyone who values quality cooking, talented staff & good wines. Go there!

The food: good quality, better quantity, you will not leave with a rumble in the stomach. It is a bit rough around the edges, some of it presented way too cold, some with too much sauce, some excellent. Overall quite good, good kitchen staff I guess.The wine was uneventful, white and red alike. The venue itself is nice, it's in the middle of town but retained a rural feel. Silverware and plates are nice, cloth napkins and real candles. The staff is the reason for three stars instead of four; awkward remarks and forgetting about orders, taking out only half of what was ready, not attentive. It was Hot that day, I must admit, could that have been the reason?Overall a mediocre experience.

Een heel gezellig in volledige Kerstsfeer restaurant. Ligt aan de Dreiländensee en geeft op de dag een mooi uitzicht daarover. Wij waren er in de avond dus niet veel gezien maar ik denk dus op de dag en s'zomers is het hier heerlijk vertoeven. Nu in de Kerstsfeer dus was het heel gezellig met alle lampjes kaarsen en kerstgroen maar het belangrijkste was het eten. Lekker gegeten grote porties alleen de frites was niet te eten. Harde ongare en vette fites maar verder een heerlijke tomatensoep en schnitzel gegeten. Het toetje kun je gerust nemen heerlijk ijs en flinke coupes. Een aanrader zo net over de grens.

Local restaurant with local (daily) guests. Typical German design. Very friendly host and most of all very good quality meat! You can choose from 20 different Schitzel....Meat nicely cooked, crispy and not fat. Chips at the side with mayonnaise and a cold glass of local beer. â¬28 voor two! Great!We will come here more often.
