It is not clear if the hotel has still a farm attached to it or not ... Certainly not with the old wooden farm equipment, because that is used to decorate the main dining room. This gives it a very cosy and pleasant atmosphere. This alone not enough to make it a pleasant dining experience ... The food was excellent a tasty potato cream enriched with duck meat, the steak fresh and with a well balanced sauce. Yep - the food gets a thumbs up. Einfach lecker. Echt meine Empfehlung.(Warum noch Gäste Rauchen lassen? - raus auf die Terrasse.)

A great place to meet friends, family or have a casual meal with business colleagues. Menu is extensive and most menu items are based on german pancakes. We had pancakes with chanterrelles /Pfifferlinge, pancakes with salmon, pancake with cherries, pancakes with cinnamon apples, pancake soup. We had a group of 10-12 people, a mix of business friends and 3 children. All were served timely and with friendly service.

Inside or out, the dining experience was perfect. The patio area had many flowers and a water feature that was peaceful and a view of the church on the property. The tables were set with perfectly ironed linens and a soft, yellow wrap was draped over a chair in case someone got cold. Menus were available in English, and the choices were all great sounding. The summer wine was light and sold only at this restaurant. It was a nice addition to our food. All of us enjoyed different choices from soups and salads to veal and fish. Delightful. This would be a perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a wedding. There was a parking area adjacent to the restaurant with no fee for parking. A must.

We have been coming to the Cramer Stuben off and on for a number of years now. And we've never been disappointed yet. Our most recent visit was on the spur of the moment in mid week and it was nice to see the place so well partonised. It's now the asparagus season here in Germany so I had to choose that, served together with the signature smoked pork loin which is heavenly. Actually the menu is very varied and I'm usually spoilt for choice. The service is always warm & friendly - the patron usually has a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. The helpful signs in the men's washrooms are a testament to his funnier side. You'll have to go there to learn more! We'll be back again - soon.

The restaurant has a very nice / elegant atmosphere. The food was very good. Not an everyday restaurant, but for a good occasion I highly recommended.

Having consulted TripAdvisor (again) my overseas business guest and I decided to try out the restaurant Zum Claashäuschen one Tuesday evening. Even though I have lived in Leverkusen for many years I have never been here before and I was very favourably impressed. Having parked in the extensive free car park we walked into the main part of the restaurant and were greeted by a friendly young man who installed us at a table close to the window. He brought over the blackboard displaying the âtodayâs specialsâ and took our drinks order. I had a ginger based Prosecco type drink which was suitably refreshing and cool natural mineral water. For starters I went for the antipasta and my guest chose the salmon on potato âreibkuchenâ (fritters or pancakes). Both went down well. For the main course I couldnât resist the veal liver on a bed of mashed potatoes while my guest decided to try the vegetarian quiche. Again, both dishes were nicely presented and delicious. I ordered a quarter litre of house red Rioja wine with the liver which was a perfect accompaniment. We passed on a dessert although we both had an espresso and I took a tiny, mini panna cotta on the side. Finally we were offered a digestif to complete the meal â I took an Obstbrand. Service throughout was quick and efficient. Both young gentlemen who served us made us feel very welcome and I know that Iâll be back again soon.

Schmuck Kastl is a Austrian Restaurant in a small village outside of Burscheid. The interior is cozy, traditional Austrian decor, coupled with lots of teddybears that are placed almost everywhere in the restaurant. The menu definitely is Austrian inspired, and features dishes on the heavier side. At the prices charged, you expect an upscale version of it or at least something more special than what you would get in other places, where similar food is served. Well, what we got wasn't bad. It lacked a bit of salt here and there. But it wasn't spectacular and too expensive for what it was.The service is friendly, but not overly attentative. And on a busy day there can be quite a wait. 2.5 hours for a 3 course menu definitely is on the long side.If you like hearty and heavy cuisine and like teddybears so much that you don't mind paying a little extra, Schmuck Kastl isn't a bad choice. If your focus is food and value, there are better places, even in the area.
