6 of us booked for dinner, however the menu is extremely limited. Lovely pub, very clean and spacious, staff are friendly and polite.....however we were extremely disappointed with the choice of food and therefore left to eat elsewhere. There is loads of potential for The Commercial to be a great place but customers need more choice.

Booking the room was easy. When I turned the owner greeted me in a warm and friendly manner. The hallway was tastefully decorated and the premises clean and tidy. The room itself was cosy, with everything I needed for my short (two-night) stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area, especially with it being so close to the train station, thus providing easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Last stayed here 10 years ago and it was every bit as good as I remembered. The owners are a lovely, welcoming couple. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are absolutely fabulous, including little extras. I would definitely recommend the Craigpark and will stay there next time I’m in Airdrie.

We were greeted as we arrived, which was really lovely. We requested 2 rooms together which were given. The Guest House was clean, which is one of the most important things in our opinion. The breakfast was lovely and well presented. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you. The Brittain Family.

We are a Bar, Bistro & Hotel located next to Bellshill train station. Live music, entertainment, well equipped rooms & delicious food and cocktails.
We want here today - party of 5 for afternoon tea, we had a voucher for it, phoned in advance to book as 1 vegetarian was with us. We weren’t given any drinks menu and told it came with tea or coffee with our voucher, wasn’t told if there any specialists teas or anything like which would have been nice, they brought tea and coffee over, first mug had lipstick on it which we said, took a while to get a new one, the afternoon tea then came was told which sausage rolls were veggie and that was all, didn’t tell us what was in the sandwiches, we asked to order more drinks, we still weren’t given a menu, niece would have liked a cocktail but had no idea what they had so got wine, we were then told we had to leave by a certain time which was fine at least 40 mins before we left so we asked for a bill and box for the cakes, waited quite a while for the box of cakes. Wasn’t really the best - not sure if we could go back.

No fuss, clean rooms. Next to the pub for decent food & drinks, but not noisy. Conveniently situated close to the motorway, and free parking close nearby. My colleagues said their beds were not comfortable. I was too tall for the shower. Couldn't connect to the WiFi. No brekkie, but bakery cafe next door opened 9am.

Easy to find, warm, quiet as and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. No problems at all. Great room, clean and big enough. Delicious breakfast. Rang to say I wouldn’t be arriving until 7:30-8pm but there was no problem at all. Triple glazed windows stopped any storm and wind gusts sounds. Definitely would recommend!!

We stayed here for one night and wish it was longer! Mara and Dave are just the most amazing hosts! Catering to our every need and being there whenever we needed them. Having your own private hot tub was great as it meant you could just be in your own little world and really just enjoy the time spent there. Not to mention we got to play in the garden with the dogs and meet the puppies which just topped the whole experience off! Will definitely be back in the future! Can’t wait for our next stay

The first time I went here, the food made me and my family sick. I have just been again a few years later, primarily because of the nice location. We ordered ice cream and drinks. I thought that they couldn't mess that up, but they did. We got our drinks (they seemed fine), but the ice cream took too long to arrive. I went inside to ask the waitress if there was an issue with the order, but she was basically clueless and just laughed. My girlfriend then went in, waited in a queue for a while, and asked other servers, but the ice cream still took ages. Now my girlfriend is feeling sick. We think it was the ice cream. How could you muck that up? Is the kitchen that dirty?! This place is shocking and an absolute joke. I recommend avoiding this place and opting for somewhere more reliable like The Coachman. It's a real pity and a let-down considering the great location and views they have.
