We had a simple dinner request, which took a while due to phone orders being done (saw all the delivery bags being filled up), but while waiting I noticed the lack of cleanliness. The guy who cut the pizza's, put the food in boxes etc had no gloves on - all done with bare hands. He dropped an item on the floor and went to pick it up to put back in the box, then realised that I was watching, so stood up again and grabbed the same item off the shelf.When we got our pizza, lava cake and chips I was not impressed. The pizza was okay but only warm (we ate it about 2-3 minutes later). The chips that were supposed to chunky were just off thin and extremely soggy (disgusting essentially) and the lava cake was very nice but also luke warm (and it was still only 5-6 minutes later).I have been to other Domino's and had way better - would not visit here again.

I had the loaded fries...wow, a unique and pleasantly surprising combination of flavors. My husband had the lamb burger...hot, juicy with a wonderful flavor. The small takeaway/eat-in shop had excellent and very friendly service. Would definitely recommend if you are not looking for something fancy but are looking for a good meal.

It took while to trust on Pizzas outlets in town until one of my collegue's recommendation dragged me to the PIZZA HOUSE. My mom ,she is a Pizza lover with variations and that what she got right here. Very humble serving staff and appreciate their high concern for the customer's demand . WE went here twice. there Pizzas are excellent . the small ones are big enough, we are vegetarian and any pizza will be changed with no hassle. They use Quorn. Also they have a web site that is totally vegan. really excellent with great helpful staff who say when it will be ready and it is.

Bella Italia, is amazing the food is some of the top Italian food I have tried, amazing service, attentive my kids smashed their creamy chicken meals, my wife had the cannelloni again amazing, and I had the fettuccine el fungi, absolutely delicious and I must recommend the garlic and cheese bread out of this world thank you we will be back for coffee in the morning. Cheerswe appreciate for it see you again

A great night with fabulous pizza in very comfortable and pleasant restaurant.The staff were polite and cheerful, the owner was engaging and open in casual conversation.We had a great meal and a great time. We would go back and we will be recommending to other friends to dine at the Bay Bar and Brasserie when visiting the region.

This cafe has easy access & parking with seating outside which is pleasant. The coffee is nothing special- compared to Wellington coffee, and the blueberry muffin I ordered was seriously nuked when it arrived. It had the strangest side flavour- something fishy almost & my husbands date scone had that flavour too. I suspect they used old vanilla flavouring. Service was slow- slow to take the order & slow to arrive with the food. There was a good range of options available for breakfast but we didn't try them. Wouldn't go there again.

Check out any google reviews to see the responses from the owner/operator. How he reacts to people online is how he talks in person with customers. Pizzas were very odd, and orders were forgotten. But most awkward of all was the service, which stopped clients from a relaxed and enjoyable time.

We chose Portofinos for our penultimate meal in Taupo because of the reviews. If I was reading my review now we would have had a lucky escape. It was very mediocre and meals were just not up to scratch..it didnât taste fresh or taste of anything much at all other than a lot of processed tasteless food. The only thing that redeemed the meal was the wine and that wasnât amazing either. If I could choose again I would try the Italian on spa road which doesnât look like much but I bet does a much better bruschetta and pasta!
