We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the restaurant. The service was relaxed and casual as you would expect. The food was wonderfully prepared but the menu was limited - no entrees and only a few mains and our choice of desert was not available.

Members and guests are welcome to dine either in the club's dining room or in the main part of the club. There is a reasonably good choice of meals available to suit virtually all tastes. Personally I enjoyed the fish and chips and the quantity and presentation were great. I would certainly recommend dining there.

My wife and I ate here at the end of January, and whilst it was OK, it wasn't stunning. We'd been warned about the size of the helpings, so missed starters and only had a BBQ platter washed down by beer and wine. Even so, the platter was too large and we left some, the quality of the meats was OK but could have been better. To finish on a positive, the serving staff were great and there's a nice buzz about the place. I paid NZ$80, reasonable value.

We were staying in Whititanga for the night whilst on our road trip. This place looked lively so called in to watch the rugby and eat. In time for the Friday wheel raffle, unfortunately didnât win but others were happy. I had delicious fish & chips and my husband had pasta - we were both very happy with the food. Great value for money. Bar has a lovely atmosphere, staff and customers friendly. Recommend for a few drinks and good honest pub grub.

Tastes better from a can! Open Thursday through to Monday from 12 pm. Brewery and brew pub, craft beer tastings, craft beer can fridge selection, plus onsite accommodation available at Seabreeze KIWI Holiday Park Welcome!
We were using the adjacent campsite and thought we'd give the bar a try and pleased we did. The range of beers was excellent and we liked the idea of the paddle allowing three smaller glasses of different beers. The thin crust pizzas were also outstanding. Our only issue was the number of midges/mosquitos that seemed to make a beeline for us around dusk time while sitting outside.

Locals told us the food was great and possibly the rugby semi finals would be on-screen. It was true, even better than anticipated. Generous meals, beautifully presented, served with a smile. Log fire well stoked kept us cosy throughout the game. Surprise birthday cake conspiracy enjoyed by all. Thank you! A wonderful traditional country pub experience!
