We had made other plans for the evening meal on our first night at the resort , but after reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to make a reservation at Miha. It's an impressive and expansive space with a stunning centrepiece fireplace perfect for winter evenings but a large outside terrace for summer dining. The experience was fine dining with the complimentary home made bread rolls and hummus and the very professional and attentive service. Our waiter really made the evening with his personable and friendly interaction. Our meals were not the most outstanding ever (maybe due to our choices) but the ambience and first class service made the evening very memorable.

A great find, this newly opened cafe in Tairua. I ordered from the cabinet the vegetarian wrap, was so tasty! Great food combination and a slight kick. My girlfriend ordered the poached eggs, avocado and bacon. Seriously generous portion and apparently very tasty. True free range eggs with deep yellow yolks from their own free range farm! Coffee was apparently really good. I ordered tea and the lovely man asked if I wanted hot wAter to top up the pot when it was finished. Wow, who offers that. I usually have to beg. Checking out the honey shop after breaky with products generated from their own honey bees! A must to visit. Dog friendly too!

We had breakfast here on our way out of Tairua. It was delicious! The pancakes were out of this world. They were thin and almost crepe-like. The hot chocolate was the best I had in all of New Zealand. The bacon was scrumptious. I would go back to Tairua just to eat here again.

Recommended by our hosts at Colleith Lodge, this is a little out-of-the-way compared to other establishments in the village, but it was well worth the short extra drive.A very interesting menu of local produce served in unpretentious but stylish surroundings.

As part of a day trip out of Auckland we stopped here and I got a beer to enjoy out on the cool front porch. It looked to be the kind of place to just stop and grab a bite or a beer and just do that.

Visited for coffee and mid-morning snacks. Very impressed with the warm welcome and engaging service. Our scones and snacks were tasty and the coffee was excellent with the barista skills well above average. Food servings to other tables looked appetising. Will return and recommended.
