Asked the lady whatâs good. She said all of it. Ordered chicken fried fried kueh teow and Malaysian chicken kapitan. They are obviously Indian but the flavour of the Malaysian dishes were less than authentic. Good spice. Under salted +++Still tasted okay as the chef must be reasonable. My advice, please state what you can cook well and tell me whatâs authentic That you make well. Would consider coming back if you are willing to tell me what you can cook well.A

Wonderful evening meal. We tried different dishes tonight to our favourites. They were superb. Great ambience, great staff and really enjoyed the cocktail at the bar after the meal.

Situated on the edge of a cricket oval beneath huge old trees planted in the 19th century, this gem of a cafe offers fabulous food and excellent coffee away from the pressures of the city. Open seven days for breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea an
My partner and I decided to try Profs at Woodlands for a late lunch.. it took 5-10mins for someone to take our order, after being seated.. once order we waited for over 45 mins to get our meal.. lucky we werenât on a time frame.. but we were told only 40 mins into our waiting period that a big group had previously order before us, and it would be a delay in getting our lunch. Thatâs when they asked if we wanted another drink.. which should of been complimentary.. but wasnât!! Hospitality you need to keep your clients happy and we werenât happy.. if we knew this we would of gone somewhere else! Food looked great when it finally came out, but was lacking in flavour, my partner had a steak sandwich .. that wasnât up to the trade at all the steak was thin and over cooked, a few lettuce leaves and a tiny small piece of capsicum slapped together with some ciabatta bread, this was not much food for $25 as he left hungry and we stopped at another place to eat before going home. Where as I had the French Toast.. the bread was stale, not enough berries, bacon was probably the best part of my dish..but still not enough for the price I paid for it.
Koko Cafe is a fresh experience on great food, a colourful atmosphere, high quality customer service and ultra smooth coffee (the best in town actually). Come enjoy flavoursome food - some classics with a modern twist - all made with fresh ingredients. We
Koko is the only cafe in Hamilton that I know of serving Havana coffee and itâs exceptional. A taste of Wellington. Their food is also fantastic, have had lunch here for several family occasions and their food cabinet sweet treats are amazing and a delight to the eyes as well as the senses. What was once Metropolis is now light and welcoming and well presented. The staff are friendly and provide a great service!

I was told that this place was Hamilton's only bilingual cafe. As a speaker of the MÄori language, I was excited to have the opportunity to use the language in this space. Unfortunately, the cafe had no indication of bilingualism at all. It was just...regular-which is more than what I can say for my coffee. I ordered an americano and the flavour was overly tart with notes of rotten lemon juice that lingered as an aftertaste. As a coffee connoisseur, I was perplexed, trying to understand the combination of clashing flavours I was drinking. I can't really blame the people that work there, as it didn't seem as though they burnt the beans..they could only do the best they could with what they have, really. I don't know who they source their beans from, but I can say this- stop immediately! Those beans are rancid and disgusting. If I could suggest some kiwi companies like Mojo or Kokako to source your beans from in the future. With the negatives aside, my food was good. Service was pleasant. Music was good. Vibe was good. I may come back in the future, but I probably won't order coffee.
