Taste Cornucopia is our intimate, organic eatery in the heart of Hastings. Everything made on site. Families are more than welcome and we have a kids menu. We offer a wide range of cabinet and menu food, from a muffin and a coffee to the old school eggs B

I was told about this cafe when asking where was good for lunch and I was not let down. Friendly service and tasty food - I had a toasty Sandwich and fries and it was delicious. Reading my book when waiting the server jokingly told me it was time to put my book away and enjoy the food when it arrived. Looking forward to being in Hastings again so i can have another great lunch
This small cafe serves the workers of Bostock's organic produce and is available to the public as well. Each weekday from 12 o'clock a meal is served using local organic produce.Just the one choice is available , IceCream, cake and coffee are available also. You get your meal at the counter and have two sizes to choose from - Small: $11 or Large:$14.You can sit out on the verandah at BBQ furniture. The day we went it was Mexican organic chicken with taco, guacamole , refried beans and slaw. The emphasis is on healthy meals for the workers. A menu for the week is printed on line and features roast pork shoulder , Thai curry, chicken stir fry etc with grains and salads. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to going again.
Hastings newest café sits on the edge of the CBD -and the coffee business. Cartel is pushing the boundaries and expectations of the café experience. Come and try the fresh classic menu and fair trade, organic, expertly made barista coffee. Let Cartel fuel
Whatâs nice surprise. Great coffee with selection of mills available. Some awesome food available too. All made there by the looks of it. Tried the quinoa salad , no nice. Definitely worth a visit.

Called in to the cafe at the Sports Park for a coffee. There's been a lack of this sort of outlet in the area despite the numbers of people going there for sport. The staff appear to be friendly and the facilities look very good. Our coffee and hot chocolate were actually hot which is a definite plus considering that so many coffee bars seem to feel that lukewarm is hot enough. Had a cheese scone - not the best I've ever had but adequate (could use an extra thing of butter for something of this size though). Unfortunately my wife started talking to another lady and it is possible we will be joining the gym on the premises - I tried to get away but I think I'm stuck with "exercise"! Despite that would recommend this cafe - especially with the only alternatives being food trucks!
