Decided to use the delivery service. Promised in 35 mins. Came in 30 mins. Well presented in compost able containers. Nice and hot and tasty. I had roast pork and roast veggies.

Brunch, Dinner and Craft Beer right in the heart of Raglan, brought to you by Pilot Brewery. With the BIGGEST breakfast and burgers in town! #isohungry #isothirsty
Disappointing experience here. We were not warned there would be a long wait for food and got no interaction from the wait staff while we waited or apology for the wait when the food arrived - 45 minute wait from time of order being placed. The place was not full so can't understand why the service was so slow. Sadly when the food came out it was only average - not worth the wait. We won't be rushing back.

We are a grocery come takeaway shop. We sell basics like bread tea coffee candy iceblocks and a full range of takeaway food ie fish and chips (fresh fish when available) salad and chip meals with prawns and a full range of burgers. We are not a walk in sh
Extremely pleasantly surprised. It was dark when we went there & I thought there was nothing open - but then off the road in what looked like a converted garage - there it was. We ordered for 7 people so sampled quite a lot of different things. I couldn't believe the extensive choices they offered. Fish was nice & very crispy. Couldn't fault them.

Arrived in Raglan in time for lunch. Went to pub and we all had very nice meals. The chicken salad was very nice, Scallops nice and mussels yummy. Would go back for a casual lunch.
Will be returning, this is the first time we visited, with the restaurant new owners ( the previous owner, was a disaster)Excellent pizzas, the prawn one especially ( I saw the pizza oven being installed) ,tempura prawns again excellent, everything served promptly and hot ! During the winter the locals are tempted with âspecialâs which is nice, to think of us.

A versatile venue with wonderful waterfront views, bright and airy with generous space for private events. Serving fresh, seasonal cuisine in a relaxed bistro environment.
We came here for a special dinner, but were both extremely disappointed with what we got. We ordered the seafood plank - the restaurant is right next to the sea, so we were assuming we'd be getting fresh seafood, but unfortunately not. Firstly the actual menu differs from that on the restaurant website, only a few minor changes (plus a few extra dollars) but no big deal. What we actually got on the "plank" was the issue: 5 mussels, none of which tasted fresh. The 2 wontons were basically inedible, with a very strong seafood/fishy taste - not a "good seafood" taste either, more like an "un-fresh fish" taste. The other items (cerviche, prawns and salmon) didn't taste of much at all - they had obviously just been taken out of a fridge and plonked on the platter and were too cold to have any real flavour. The wakeme was OK, but also straight out of a supermarket package that had also been kept in the fridge... There was also a huge pile of pickled ginger (also straight out of the fridge) - at least that took the nasty fishy flavour out of our moths after the mussels & wontons - and 4 little dots of "wasabi", straight from the tube. The seafood chowder taster was quite nice, but it really was a taster - only a couple of teaspoons in total.Definitely not what we were expecting for the cost ($59) and simply just terrible quality food.Would not ever go back and would recommend steering clear and eating elsewhere, as there are far better options in the area.

When we arrived at the Bistro the atmosphere was friendly and the staff very welcoming. Even so, we were astonished that a small (by big-city standards) restaurant in a small regional town would have such succulent menu options. And then they arrived and exceeded expectations. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the broth was divine. Every other menu item we chose showed exceptional care and diligent preparation and presentation.

Really nice dinner for my wifeâs birthday! Great service, delicious food - calamari, lamb and lentil burger all very good. Nice spot too as you overlook the estuary and the decor inside was cool. 10/10 would visit again and recommend.

Cafe Restaurant open 7 days, excellent food and table service.
Food was great! Service not so much. My girlfriend had specific dietary requirements that The Shack could not meet (which is fine). As we sat at our table on the footpath outside she began to eat a salad she had with her and drunk a tea purchased from The Shack. She was told she was not allowed to eat the salad. She then left the salad on her lap while staff proceeded to stare at her and gossip with other staff throughout the whole time we were there. We understand that eating food not purchased from the cafe is not allowed but it would have been nice for an exception to be made under these circumstances and the consistent staring/bad attitude was not necessary. Will not be returning.

We stopped in just for coffee and cake and really enjoyed both. The coffees (cappa and mocha) and carrot cake were on point! Gorgeous garden out back too and the decor inside was really funky. Staff friendly and prices ok.
