We popped in here for a nice dinner before heading off to a show... It was quite quiet as early on the night, but the service was impeccable, the food excellent... Can't fault it...

Vibrant suburban cafe. Loud and friendly. 2 coffee machines F A S T C O F F E E F R E S H F O O D
Looks the part, takeaway food took a while to wait for a toasted panini/sandwich. When opened up the filling was just in the centre which meant for a lot of plain dry bread uneaten. Didn't get any cutlery in the bag or napkins which made it messy to eat the side salad with hands... Coffee was nice. Overall came to $45 for 2 coffees and 2 takeaway paninis/toasted sandwich which was over priced for what we got. Maybe it's better to dine in or dine somewhere else.

A busy award winning cafe in central Hamilton offering fresh seasonal food, exceptional coffee and catering
Absolutely lovely little place where we had breakfast. Everything made on premises and fresh, fabulous muffins and sweets and great friendly staff. Display counter full of amazing salads beautiful filled rolls and quiches. And homage plum jam to die for which I took home. We will definitely stop again on our travels.

Booked a table for mid-January while on holiday in Hamilton as a wedding anniversary present for family. Super-excited to try based on great feedback from friends. But when we turned up on the night the restaurant was dark - locked and no sign on the door explaining why. No post on their website. Nothing on Facebook or other social media. So we had to find an alternative at short notice, which wasn't easy!Email query finally responded to a couple of days later - restaurant hadn't got their liquor license in time and they'd tried to contact us but hadn't managed to on the number I'd provided (I didn't give them a number). Offered a $100 voucher which I said I'd think about - then when I wrote back and said yes, we'd take it for our guests (since we were leaving the country again) didn't hear anything back.Thought I'd give them time to respond but this was a very poor show. Our guests had paid for a babysitter and we'd all been looking forward to the meal so much.

Zealand was on my bucket list and I was not disappointed in the experience. The Tea Centre is interesting and you can purchase the various teas that the estate produces as well as a lovely range of teapots and accoutrements. You can also read about the history of Zealong. The gardens really were divine with beautiful sculptures and art works (tea themed of course) dotted tastefully here and there. The tea house was a lovely experience, with a relaxing atmosphere and pleasant staff. We didn't have the high tea, or a large lunch; rather we had an entree and side of vegetables as lunch. These meals were of a high standard, although the time it took to arrive was just a little too long - there were apologies for the wait however so I can only assume this is not typical. Prices were at the high end but if the quality was consistent with our meal, I would say it would be well worth it. The tea was, of course, divine. This is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended.Kia ora, thank you for your lovely review. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time with us, and found your visit one you would recommend.

Contemporary New Zealand cuisine at it's finest. Agenda specialises in prime New Zealand meats and fresh produce to create a mouth-watering range of unique flavours. A multi award-winning restaurant, including 5 years running Beef and Lamb Excellence Awar
Our expectations were high due to Agendaâs good TA ranking, but ours was a mixed experience. The service was friendly. The decor and furnishings, tired and uninspiring. Our wine choices were excellent. The shared starter of Pate, blue cheese and onion jam, very tasty and a great way to start. Her meal (the goats cheese fondant) was yummy and she wanted more. His meal (the market fish with soft shell crab) was tasteless, bland and disappointing. We shared the Bombe Alaska for dessert - very ordinary. So we started well, but finished not completely satisfied.

Came here for a dinner with the hubby. We enjoyed entree's, main's and dessert's. The style of food pushed us out of our comfort zone which was exciting.Food was impeccably presented, and had lovely flavour combinations, and unique ingredients. Only let down (minor!) was the service. I had to try get the waiter's attention so I could order another drink.Lovely intimate setting. Very pleasant evening.

Despite the fact that we had booked, we were made to stand and wait at the entrance while staff answered phones and served other customers who waived out to attract their attention. After some time got bored and seated ourselves. After about 10-12 minutes noone came to give us menus so I telephoned the restaurant to ask for menus. The staff member I spoke to hung up the phone and started serving some oneone else. Not made to fell welcome. And didn't want to stay as it looked like other customers had been waiting ages and had to call our to get served. The restaurant wasn't even close to full. No excuse.
