I had watered-down onion soup with a cheese bread topping that you couldn't bite intoThe only veg option was some sort of poppadum blue cheese mixed veg concoction that didn't really make any sense. It was not nice! Didn't try the deserts! We were with family otherwise I would have complainedGet a new chef!

Welcome to Dignita Vondelpark. Just a stone’s throw from the southerly entrance of Vondelpark and Amstelveenseweg, you can enjoy delicious all day brunch in our light and spacious café. The café is divided over three levels which is perfect for a casual c
Very aesthetic, lovely decor and beautifully presented food. Really inventive menu, food is clearly well sourced and even the tea is given in the cutest envelope. The only thing I would say is that the Pink Pop juice was a bit disappointing as there was more berries than watermelon and it wasn't pink.

Restaurant Adam | PURE. HONEST. PASSION. For a night of culinary bliss Restaurant Adam is the place to be. Come in to our cosy restaurant on the Overtoom in the old part of Amsterdam West en let yourself be pampered. Head Chef Arne Russchen and his team p
The surprise menu was terrific. Fresh, local ingredients, served imaginatively, and with care.4 of us vegetarian, one vegan. Most of the 5 courses were tailored subtly and carefully to make them vegan, and not making the diner feel "they just left out the things which aren't vegan", which can happen easily. And for one course, an entirely different and creative mushroom and radish dish was presented as the vegan item.Excellent service, full explanations of the ingredients and preparation.Divine asparagus blanched slightly, then marinated in oil, bay leaves, garlic and rosemary, then smoked over a BBQ.My youngest (10) liked most of the vegetables, and the rest of us happily scoffed her rejects.Tuesday night, 7pm, only booked a few hours in advance, restaurant about half full but felt lively because of good music and sensibly all patrons sat in the front half.We were staying 100 metres from Restaurant Adam. It's pricey, and very very good. Have no idea what I'd do if we *lived* 100m from it.... Have to really restrain ourselves and not pop in every weekend.

Visited Loetje on Tuesday 06 Aug 2019. 4 people two friends heading to Schiphol for their flight back home to the UK. We sat outside near the riverside. Ordered the 16 piece starter and meat balls in sauce. Delicious. We could have ordered another round! But we didn't for fear of not enjoying the main course. Next we all had the Beef Tenderloin with Loetje Jus. Thank goodness for the bread as we all moped our plates and we could have request more but we didn't like to be seen to be pigs. The Beef was succulent (medium rare) and more or less melted in the mouth. Chips were hot and browned beautifully - very tasty! The two salads (very tasty and nearly over flooded the dish) between 4 people were very generous and to be honest we could have just ordered 1 salad. I mean salad or chips "health conscious" or "bugger the diet!!!" Lol What would you choose? Lastly only two of us had a desert! Coffee liqueur and 2 chocolates. Perfect and our other guest had the Sticky Toffer Pudding. Again a good portion of the pudding with cream. We all had a taste by the way! This looked and tasted light and it was again delicious. A nice syrup helped the desert go down very well. Our friends admitted that they wished they had a similar restaurant close to them in County Durham, where they could go to for snacks or a main meal. They were also overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff. Great experience!

This restaurant is located in the old wind mill what makes it very special and creates a unique atmosphere. The food was really nice and innovative, when using artichoke in an every course. I see a room for improvement in the service.

Nice house (little like Martin Berasategui) on lake shore (although no view, at least inside – there is a terrace too). Beautiful interior design. 6 course chef’s menu and a la carte. Everything was good in the menu. Good service, smooth pace – not too quick but not too slow either. I’ve visited many Amsterdam Michelin starred, and so far this is a clear winner.
