This Thai restaurant has delivered some of the best Thai food I have eaten outside of Thailand. I had a green curry, that was marked with the maximum spiciness. And surprisingly enough, it was actually spicy! I also loved the presentation with vegetable crisps, because presentation is usually a bit of a challenge with Asian food. So I loved this attention to detail. Also, the curry had a beautiful hint of coriander, which made the taste really come to life. Den Helder is not the most logical of all touristic destinations, but once there: be sure to check out this Thai restaurant!

Restaurant With Great Variety Of Oriental Dishes, Both All You Can Eat And Drink Arrangement As A La Carte Menu
We went to this restaurant because it's not far from the Railway station. They have "All you can eat" for ⬠22,50 and ⬠25,00 but we didn't take that. We ordered Tjap Choi vegetarian and Mapo tofu. After spending the whole day walking around in two museums, we really enjoyed the food. The Mapo tofu was quite different that I normally had from other restaurants, not spicy. When I told one of the staff, she said that the people of Den Helder don't like spicy food. Well, we had good diner but the taste was not really special. Friendly staff, though

This place looks odd, and feels odd, but it works. In fact I have returned several times for feast of Japanese/Korean small plates. It is all-you-can eat, after all. The Sushi Master sits on the parking lot of a dreary suburban mall. Inside, it is a large room that looks like a fine dining place but it is not, it is low-noise and dimly lit. It is staffed by one hostess, a cook, and an assistant. The kitchen is open but there is no typical sushi counter. Unfortunately, the counter space is used for piles of plastic takeout containers. The Sushi Master's all-you-can eat approach works nicely: for 25 Euro you choose 5 items from the entire menu of small plates 4 times. The variety of plates is wide: from sashimi, to rolls, to seaweed salads, to deep fried specialties, grilled meaty bits, tofu stuff, and ice cream at the end. Anything I ordered appeared promptly. The rolls are OK (mostly made in advance), as is the nigiri, But the sheer variety of flavours is fun.Locals seem to come a lot. The service is polite and coolly professional. Odd overall, but it keeps drawing me back.

An excellent meal. They called their house speciality"chinese tapas", by which they mean many choices of different small dishes. You pay a set price - â¬20.00, for which you can have as many rounds of 5 dishes per person, for up to 6 rounds. I gave up after two rounds - 10 dishes. Friends had managed 3 rounds. Go hungry and enjoy!!
