Find out what Indonesian restaurants to try in Haarlem. Though often overshadowed (especially for tourists) by its much larger and more famous neighbor Amsterdam about ten miles east, Haarlem’s history actually goes back further. And with about 150,000 people, it’s the capital of the Noord-Holland region. The Teylers Museum, with its unique collection of art and artifacts, is the oldest museum in the Netherlands. The fantastic Frans Hals Museum has many works by the artist and other Haarlem schoolers. Grote Markt, the main town square, is a must-see.

We do not have any Indonesian restaurants in Nova Scotia , Canada. So we were excited to try something new. We immensely enjoyed this amazing cuisine. It was delicious, with very generous helpings. The staff there were so helpful in deciphering this new cuisine and we enjoyed a shared meal of Rijsttafel. The fried banana with fresh fruit was so refreshing as dessert. Oh , how we wish we had another meal here, perhaps we can return.... It was definitely a memorable meal, one of the best we have eaten anywhere!

We had a group of six (inc vegetarians) and only few Dutch speaker.Restaurant premises were kind of small and even it wasn't super busy (Tuesday) it was good we had reserved the table beforehand. Restaurant's website has handy online reservation system.Service was friendly all the way through (navigating through three languages). It took a while to get the food, but it was all served simultaneously.Majority (inc the vegetarians) chose the rijsttafel and we loved it. It was plenty and absolutely delicious. Veg alternative was really well thought of! The one person whose à la carte main praised her choice as well (if possible she would give 10 stars!)Prices were reasonable, portions good value for money. Wine/beer list was short but adequate for our needs (also reasonably priced). Excellent choice as our international guests were very pleased to taste Indonesian food & loved the rijsttafel-concept.

Modern Indonesian Cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Beautiful wines, great Indonesian-style cocktails, G&T's and great whiskies. In collabration with Agus Hermawan & Ron Blaauw, the "Dutch Gordon Ramsay"...
I got to know the place via my colleagues, and I was in need of a restaurant for my friendsâ special event. So, Chefâs choice it was.The service from booking to arrange special and customized needs to make the night memorable went amazingly smooth. We had to change the reservation at one point and it was handled in seconds. The staff was super friendly, informative and understanding. The courses were delivered thoughtfully. The food... from the texture to color and finishing, it was quite an outstanding experience for a simple place like this.My special thanks to the chef and the staff. We were very satisfied. Will definitely come back for more.Keep up the fantastic work!
