I and my father had the dinner there. Excellent dishes, excellent waiters. I revisited the place after few months.We orderes schrimps made in various ways and then salmon with vegetables and catfish with vegetables. Desert for 2 closed our wish list. Some wine and water too. All delicious, highly recommend this place.In the afternoon you can get a nice sunset view from the terrace.

This restaurant in Wijk aan Zee is a great place to end a day at the beach, or to leave Amsterdam and just go to Wijk aan Zee only for dinner at Het zomerhuis. :-)The decor is very Brocante and therefore feels very casual and homely. The waiting staff is very kind, patient and attentive, not rushing you nor making you wait unbearably long. The food is simple, with which I mean no fancy French plate with little food and lots of fuss. It is really well prepared, plenty, but not plentyfull and just simply very well tasting!There are enough choices, so something for everyone. The only downside, though they do offer highchairs, there are no kids meals or is there a changing table available in the restrooms. Handing out an extra plate, extra fries and apple compote for the toddler, was no problem and came at no extra charge. This little gem is celebrating it's 10th anniversary this year and I understand why. Good food, good service at decent prices. They can go for another 10 years, easily!

Enjoyed a superb fish meal at this excellent restaurant that has superb 180 degree views of the harbour & sea area. Outstanding cod and terrific service team. Really great and attentive service would definitely recommend. This restaurant is an absolute must in Beverwijk. Friendly ambience and staff.The menu is regularly changing and the pricing is always very moderate, nice wines and good draft beers.We go there with the whole family and always enjoy it.During the weeknd hoewever reserving a table is an absolute must as it is always packed.

This is truly a real beachclub! You actually have the real surfers hanging out but also families bringing their kids and dogs. I like the mixture of people and it is just a great location! Perfect to sit outside in the sun with a coffee or beer during summer or to go for a lunch or dinner inside when it is cold outside.There is even a fireplace inside and there is a mix of old wooden furnitures as well as Chesterfield sofas and somehow it just comes together in a cosy and friendly athmosphere. I like it!

I have eaten here a few times with colleagues whilst on business in this part of NL. This place has a great feel to it with wooden floors, piano ion the corner and lots of trinkets on the walls. As foor food and drink - this place ticks all the boxes for me for a really good social evening. Its not fine dining by any stretch - but serves a decent choice of food accompanied by decent dutch beers and wines. the steak is particularly good, but they also serve a decent selection of fish and other meats as well as vegie options. Lastly - and such is the case with many dutch establishments - what makes you go back here is the service and the staff. They cater to every need of the customer - great in my case who has often been described as 'an idiot abroad'. try this place - its fun, relaxing and a decent value for money option.

Visited for a mother's day lunch. Service was good. Food was ok. Presentation was good. Portions were not that big. The frozen fondue dessert is a very nice concept though. Not sure i'll retoun soon though.

Our Berner was allowed inside so that is a big plus from us. The food was very good, I loved my Carpaccio starter. The service could have been better but considering there was only one waiter for all of the restaurant it was quite understandable. We had a great dinner and would not hesitate to come back.

This is definitely the place to be if you like fine dining, fish and a homey atmosphere. We had the 7 course menu combined with a nice bottle of Patrick Piuze Chablis. You sensed that each course was made with a lot of love and passion. We will come back for sure!
