Restaurant Adam | PURE. HONEST. PASSION. For a night of culinary bliss Restaurant Adam is the place to be. Come in to our cosy restaurant on the Overtoom in the old part of Amsterdam West en let yourself be pampered. Head Chef Arne Russchen and his team p
The surprise menu was terrific. Fresh, local ingredients, served imaginatively, and with care.4 of us vegetarian, one vegan. Most of the 5 courses were tailored subtly and carefully to make them vegan, and not making the diner feel "they just left out the things which aren't vegan", which can happen easily. And for one course, an entirely different and creative mushroom and radish dish was presented as the vegan item.Excellent service, full explanations of the ingredients and preparation.Divine asparagus blanched slightly, then marinated in oil, bay leaves, garlic and rosemary, then smoked over a BBQ.My youngest (10) liked most of the vegetables, and the rest of us happily scoffed her rejects.Tuesday night, 7pm, only booked a few hours in advance, restaurant about half full but felt lively because of good music and sensibly all patrons sat in the front half.We were staying 100 metres from Restaurant Adam. It's pricey, and very very good. Have no idea what I'd do if we *lived* 100m from it.... Have to really restrain ourselves and not pop in every weekend.

The name, Bowery, derives from the Dutch word 'bouwerij' (farm) as well as an area and street in Lower Manhattan, New York. It represents a perfect link between Dutch legacy and a cosmopolitan approach. Bowery is an interactive dining experience, where yo
I was privileged to eat lunch in this restaurant for 4 consequent days. The food items were delicious as per dutch standard. Considering our Indian Origin they served at least rice item and chicken curry. The most memorable item of this restaurant was Salmon it was out of the world. The restaurant has good view of front road. All the non vegetarian items were ultimate. The Pastries or other sweet items were also unique. I enjoyed all the lunch and hope to visit here again.Thank you very much for your compliments! It's very nice to hear that you enjoyed our lunch offerings for 4 consequent days. We are keen to offer a variety of choices appealing to everyone and it's amazing to hear we succeeded with you.We hope we can welcome you back in the future and provide you with another memorable experience!

Had a reservation at 19:00 and realized 1 hour before that they tried to push the reservation to 21:00 without even asking. Bad first impression. The 6 course meal was wonderful, everything tasting perfect and catered to our interesting. The asparagus course was a hit for us. Kept us constantly yearning for more. Dessert was truly great with so many amazing textures and flavors. Prefect. My boyfriend accidentally dropped a glass of our wonderful sparking wine on the concrete flooring and was devastated.. I assured him that everything was fine but no one mentioned it or brought another glass for him. It wasnât even cleaned up by the staff.. unacceptable. Our mood was instantly ruined. Seeing as it was his birthday I went to a nearby waiter to make them aware that it was his birthday and that he was feeling a bit down about the glass broken on the floor... they didnât do anything special for his birthday either and charged us for the replacement glass of sparking wine... left a bad taste in both of our mouths.. Quite let down. I was expecting so much more after reading the raving reviews. What was supposed to be our fancy last fancy dinner in Amsterdam turned out to put a bummer on our last day. Regretful. The service just did not match the food.

The Happy Bull is a burger restaurant located in Amsterdam South, near end of the Vondel park by the Hoofddorpplein. We specialize in hamburgers and milkshakes. Our love and passion for high quality food has quickly earned us the reputation of serving the
A less formal simple dinner with colleagues while travelling. We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy some straight forward food. The Happy Bull didnât disappoint. We were joined by another colleague and although very busy the friendly and helpful staff were able to fit in one more. You do need to book. Iâm not sure you can be certain of a table if you just drop in. Thankfully you can book via TripAdvisor. The food was very well done. The onion rings were great. We all went for a burger of some kind, and the options are extensive. They cater for all tastes with chicken and vegetarian options also available. The craft beer menu was good with a wide range of US beers to add to the Americana feel. Value for money was excellent too. Three of us were well fed with several beers for â¬35/head.

I had dinner here whilst staying at the nearby Ramada airport hotel. The restaurant ambience was pleasant if slightly reverberant. The service was good and very welcoming ( I interacted with a number of staff all of whom were very friendly). Both courses I had (crab soup and schnitzel) were very good. I also had a half bottle of Fleurie which was good if overpriced. Overall a good experience although expensive by UK standards outside of London. I would be happy to return. It's is good to read that you had a nice meal in our brasserie, we look forward to welcome you again!Team La Bouche

We turned up here for a meal without booking. The people here were good enough to accommodate us and we were pleased they did. The restaurant is close to the Zwarte Pad, where we were staying on "The Houseboat Between Two Windmills". Drinks were quickly served after seating us at a table for two. Starters arrived after we had chosen the 30 euro specials each from the menu. Starter board to share had brown shrimps, prawns, white fish, salad,

Delicious food, drinks, and more. Cor & Don's City Restaurant is your destination for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Headed here as a change from my hotel to eat somewhere different, based on other feedback. It's easy to find - the hotel has a large illuminated sign so wasn't a difficult stroll. I was seated quickly and ordered a Adana Kebab with side salad and beer (the drink came quickly) and also a passing waiter offered a small titbit (tapas on toast) whilst I waited. When the kebab arrived it only had a small garnish on the plate and when I enquired if this was their side salad, it seemed they'd forgotten about it so hurriedly located it and brought it to the table. The meal was fine for what I ordered: flame-grilled lamb and herbs with a mint rahita (could have done with some chilli sauce) and went okay with the salad, but for nearly 20 euros it felt overpriced.Although the place didn't seem to be too full the staff still seemed to be scurrying around, busily. At some point a passing waitress asked if I wanted a dessert menu and vanished to get one... then 15 mins later spotted me and realised she'd forgotten all about me. However, I ordered some breads and dip whilst I finished my second beer. This oversight seemed to be a repeatable model: after sitting there with an empty glass and no offers of refills, I asked a waiter to fetch me the bill. After seeing nothing for the next 15 mins, I asked a waitress instead who produced it fairly quickly.I would have stayed for more beers and maybe returned on another day, but felt overall the service was slow and negligent - nobody really cared if customers wanted anything more, and with several waiting staff being so forgetful I think I'll forget about returning. A pity, since those burgers looked nice.

We tried local fish, home made pasta and peking duck. All perfect. We tried also special varieties of jenever gin. Really tasteful.
