The lunch we had was fantastic. My wife, a vegetarian was specially impressed with her salad. I has the flower based tuna dish which was sooo tasty and our guest had the seafood special which had tastes of various fishes. The service was impecable and nice to see proper cutlery and linen. Cannot fault the restaurant.

We ate lunch here whilst on business in the Netherlands.I personally chose the schnitzel which turned out to be huge! Served with chips, a sauce and fresh salad. They will give you a menu in English if you ask, which is rather helpful indeed.Delicious, tasty food..this place isn't shy on portion size though! So if like me you're used to tiny English sizes, stomachs beware!Good service & beautiful views made for an all-round very pleasant experience.Thank-you :-)

My husband and I have been here a couple times. During the winter the pumpkin soup is great! The sandwiches with salmon and cream cheese are great as well. We went again the other night and my dish was not great. I ordered a tomato pasta with blue cheese which was supposed to come with basil but was instead piled with arugula. It turned out to not be a good combination. My dish was bitter. My husband ordered the mixed grill plate and his was amazing. The restaurant itself is clean but the service is too slow.

Welcome at Happy Tosti, a lunch-restaurant different than all the others. The majority of our employees have a labor disability. Most of the products we use are organic. We make the most wild tosti creations with fresh, healthy en high quality ingredients
A smaller coffee place nestling right next door to a well known competitor, so easily overlooked.Window seats were swings (fastened so you couldn't swing through the window!) which immediately set it apart as quirky.Lovely staff, catering for all, followed a sign language conversation between one of the staff and a customer. We just wanted coffee and appeltaart and found this much to our liking, especially as there was a special offer, making it about half the price that we have found it for elsewhere. The toasties looked amazing, so we will have to come back on our next visit to Holland and try some out.Dear Engelsman, Thank you for your great review and your recommendation. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our service and restaurant. We hope to see you soon and let you try one of our delicious toasties!

We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked about 1km to get here and were very happy that we did. My wife had catch of the day and I had a ribeye, both of them were very good. The restaurant is a cross between a farm style and modern looking restaurant, the decor was very nice. If we're ever travelling thru the area again, we're definitely going to stop in and enjoy another meal here.

Orries is a nice little restaurant in Nieuw Vennep. The menu is not very extended but good enough. The quality of the food however is really good. We, as family of 4, had 4 different dishes which were all very nice. Also the price is very good.

Very nice restaurant. Good looking place. Well done. It was very busy with larger parties, (6-8-10 pax). There is also a loft where dinner is served. The service is good; all young people. Perhaps too young? They clearly have good systems, once the server puts you in his handheld device. With good weather, I'm sure that the outdoor cafe is lovely (if you discount the highway traffic).Couple of comments: Our "ordinary" pancakes were slightly undercooked. They were nice and thin but just not cooked long enough. "Too doughy on the inside"Secondly: The pancake menu is impressive. However, I feel that the regular a la carte menu could be improved. Perhaps one or two interesting pastas (Fettucine). Another cut of beef (Diamand Haasje? or Kogel Biefstuk? Bavette?) and a standard fish item in addition to the seafood dish of the day.Nice to have a beer list; mention also what's on tap and what's in the bottle.Overall a pleasant surprise. We'll be back.

Visited Jacques because it was close to the Hotel where we stayed and the reviews were good. We were not disappointed. One of the best meals during our travels through Europe. Food prepared with great care and attention. The soup and pork medallions were scrumptious. The staff member who served us was attentive and was knowledgeable about the menu. If this restaurant was in my neighbourhood I would be a regular visitor!
