After a rather perfunctory greeting, and an array of Maneki-nekowe, we were shown to our seats. The lunch menu was approximately 10-12 items ALL with pork fried rice. Main menu was meat heavy, but I did manage to find a vegetarian option. The main menu portions were quite large in comparison to the lunch menu plate. Nonetheless, a tasty and hearty meal. As an aside, in the female washroom - the stall was minus a lock, and I mean just a circular hole in the door where the lock should have been. Hmmm.

Yes! Our Food Was Delicious! Our server was kind and attentive.Restaurant and menus were clean.I always appreciate it when servers pre-bus tables. Servers walking back to kitchen empty handed is time not wisely used. The menâs room... Yikes! Two soap dispensers torn off the wall. Three electric paper hand towel dispensers empty. Regular kitchen paper towel to dry hands. Where does male service staff wash their hands after using the bathroom since there isnât any soap in there??

Is it Americanized? Yes - you're in North Dakota! Considering its location Shing Ya was a great surprise. Very authentic flavors - the ramen was very good. Sushi was also very good quality. We had the spicy pork balls as an appetizer - very interesting presentation of pork - and delicious! Dishes are modestly priced and the portions are a good size without being ridiculous. I love a variety of Asian food and I was very happy to find Shing Ya - I will return!

Loved this restaurant! Stopped here for lunch before heading back to Canada after a weekend of shopping. The only downside, was that they were out of chicken and beef...they only had pork, seafood, and tofu to choose for the meat options. But I will definitely be going again, I love this style of dining. The staff were great too! They have quite the system of cooking on that grill...and for every single plate they hand over to a customer, they make sure to say 'thank you' and 'enjoy', which I loved! They must do that hundreds of times a day, and it gets so repetitive, but they don't seem like they are just making a robotic statement.Highly recommend you give this a try!

We enjoyed the food. I ordered French dragon rolls and Yummy Yummy rolls with mango slices. My husband had a chicken steak which was also good. What I'd like to see in American restaurants: 1) music (would be nice to hear Japanese music in a Japanese cafe), 2) paper napkins on the table, 3) more comfortable temperature, I hate sitting and freezing inside.

Restaurant that offers Japanese cuisine, include Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Teriyaki, Pan-fried Noodles, Noodle Soup, Fried Rice and Hibachi Grills that cooks in front of people.
The food wasn't impressive. Eatable when you're hungry, but nothing special. I don't drink cold water, so I asked to bring me a glass of room temperature water. What they gave me was hard to call water, smth undrinkable.Sorry to hear this experience from you, as I can see that you were eating here at our restaurant back on February? can you please provide more details on what was going on back on that day? so we can better assist you and our customers in the future. That will be really helpful, thank you!

Come by your local Noodles & Company at 3000 32nd Ave, , Grand Forks where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
Our coaching staff decided to eat lunch at N&C and were very impressed by the staff! Customers were coming in very steadily and the kitchen staff was on top of it, preparing orders and getting them out to their tables quickly while the food was still steaming hot! The restaurant continued to fill up, but the staff was quite attentive to clean tables and keep things running smoothly. My Pesto Cavatappi was spot on tasty! Our experience here for lunch will bring us back again for sure. Great Job, Staff!
