Devils Lake is a city in Ramsey County, North Dakota, United States. It is the county seat of Ramsey County. The population was 7,141 at the 2010 census. It is named after the nearby body of water, Devils Lake. The first house in Devils Lake was built in 1882. It was surveyed in 1883 and named Creelsburg and later Creel City, after the surveyor, Heber M. Creel. In 1884 it was renamed Devils Lake.

This place is a true gem in my home town. We went for dinner one night on a recent fishing trip. Living in Texas I was skeptical to say the least. The décor is like many nice Mexican restaurants I have visited around Texas. It was clean and colorful. The staff was friendly and helpful when asking about specific dishes on the menu (after all the locals do not experience real Mexican food). I ordered the Chile Verde. It was fantastic. It tasted like Chile Verde I have eaten in Mexico. The green chile/tomatillo sauce was killer with just a little back heat. I was stunned. I haven't found true Mexican food (only Tex-Mex) anywhere near me.If you want a taste of true Mexican cooking you need to check this one out if you're in the area. Excellent food, service, and reasonable prices.

I have visited this same Taco Bells on several occassions. Since I visit Taco Bells regularily I compare this one to the others I have visited. This Taco Bell is with a KFC which is nice if you want some additional varity. The service is always poor and the place is well worn. The food was at par with Taco Bell, but my wife ordered chicken softshells and I ordered beef and they were not labeled so I ended up eating her softshell before I noticed. I had to askd for hot sauce as they do not have it readily available. the food was of average quality and it was reasonably fast.
