Not far from Sigiriya, we stopped in for a bite to eat and were very impressed! A delicious buffet of Sri Lankan dishes, with a wide selection of fresh juices (superb!) and Italian coffee! The owners were so friendly and made our young girls feel at home. They have a hotel which looks newly refurbished but we didnâtgo inside. What a little gem! Would thoroughly recommend.Not expensive either

Not where I would have stopped, too "local" for my choice. But we had an excellent lunch served by an elderly gentleman who was lovely. As we discussed what each of the 6 dishes contained that were just one vegetable curry, he brought the raw vegetables to our table to show us. Not smart or trendy, but tasty and wholesome food.

We had lunch at Divulhena. The family cooked for us. Not only were they very friendly and offered us more than we could eat. But they also served the most delicious food in a wonderful and original environment. It is THE place to go if you are in the Habarana area. No hotel restaurant is going to serve you better food. You will have to call in advance since they prepare the food specially for you.Thank you very much.
