Whatâs the point ordering online when your sandwiches havenât even been started? My families sandwiches were supposed to be ready at 6:45 PM and the workers havenât even started making them and itâs now 7 PM. Whereâs management at? I highly doubt anyone will even follow up on this? Terrible customer service!!!!!
Our dinner was amazing!! We ordered a little bit of everything - appetizers friend pickles, boneless chicken tenders, wings. For dinner we ordered white pizza, burgers kids meals, great cold beer and even better desserts. We had a great dinner with excellent services.
We stopped in for a couple of flavored icees and holy moly was there a ton of choices. Quite a few strange ones too like toothpaste flavored. Kinda gross. But thereâs a bunch and the kids seemed to love it. The portions are quite large so just a small is PLENTY!
A friend invited us to a brewery in Waxhaw for lunch. Found out after arriving they had only snacks. I ran across the street and ordered 4 pork bbq sandwiches to go from South Main St BBQ. They also have frozen "custard"?, maybe ice cream, made to order. It looked awesome. Back to our lunch. I ordered one slaw on the side and it ended up on one of the sandwiches. Also the order came with no pickles (my wife loves pickles). There was an obvious new employee that seemed to have just started so I guessed that that was the problem. Hope he enjoyed my tip! I would return however, especially to try the ice cream. There is some outside seating. The interior is very small, perhaps 4 tables. The ice cream is made right beside front door. You order in the back.

We went for dinner. Atmosphere was nice and waitress was polite. Service was good. I got the twin lobster tails which were very large and delicious. My wife got the baked spaghetti which was basically spaghetti with meat sauce with mozzarella on top. My niece got fried flounder and was very good. My son got a ribeye and it was seasoned well but slightly overcooked. We also got sautéed spinach and it was off the chain. Overall very good. It sounded like a steakhouse by the name, but isn't.

Finally took the 30-mile drive over to Waxhaw (2/3/2019) to check out some new Restaurants. We were headed to Maxwellâs Tavern, butâ¦..they were closed for Super Bowl Sunday! So, we headed to what was going to be the restaurant we were going to check next time we came over, Provisions, what a lucky break! My wife got the Ruben, best sheâs ever had! She also got the Kale salad and said it was very good. I got the Italian Panini with a side of Cream of Mushroom Soup, I was more that impressed with both. I know this is the first of many trips to Provisions!

Here's the deal....consistently delicious food, yet inconsistent service.I first came in June with some friends. We had some amazing food - the caprese avocado, the mill fries, the deviled eggs....oh, everything was delicious. Service was top notch!Couldn't wait to come back, so went back in July with my husband. Got the caprese again.....and the fried green tomatoes (OMG) and the chicken and waffles. Oh, and the pork belly tacos. Everything, EVERYTHING was delicious...but service was inconsistent. We would get two of our plates right away....then 40 minutes later get a third...the timing was just off and the server did keep apologizing. People around us who came after us finished before we did...it was like what you ordered determined how long you would be there.

You need to get there early to avoid a wait for a table. They get very busy especially on Saturday morning. Food is good for a good price. I love their french toast and my family loves their omelettes and skillet breakfasts. Good place for good food.

We were going to Waxhaw because we heard there were great restaurants there. We looked for the best restaurants to try. Maxwells Tavern was at the top of the list. We decided to try them, and we were not disappointed. We both had the Tavern Philly with fries. The portions were enormous and extremely good. We saw other entrees going to different tables and it all looked great.Space was limited, we got the last table at 1:15. This is surely a #1 place to eat in Waxhaw.
