As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 11,415. It is the county seat of Edgecombe County. Tarboro is located near the western edge of North Carolina's coastal plain. I normally use the drive-thru at this facility and am always pleased with the service with a smile attitude of the employees with which I have contact. I always get a 2 piece meal or a famous bowl and both are with special instructions and they are always hot and right.

A friend suggested this place for lunch. This place is obviously popular with the happy locals. Very friendly staff but food was just fair to average for our small group. The prices on everything was very reasonable. The downtown seems a bit depressed but I've seen much worse. Other parts of the town are, for the most part, lovely and every person I spoke to in this beautiful town were upbeat and friendly. I'm hopeful that the friendly folks and architecture will cause new industry to take a chance. I want to return to try the other restaurants.

We stopped at the Country Sunrise Grill after looking at several other restaurants for lunch. We like to eat local whenever we can. It is a nice small local restaurant with great service. My wife had the fried shrimp and she said that they were a little salty for her taste. I had the country style steak with creamed potatoes and green beans. Excellent. They also had very good sweet iced tea.Give it a try if you are in Tarboro. Very friendly and satisfying.

First time here and I was overall pretty surprised. The salad bar is as good as any you will find. Big, fresh selection of toppings and dressings. They were constantly stocking it and keeping it clean. The pork chops were perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The ribeyes were thin but tasty. The server wasnât the friendliest person in the world, but we had a big group so that might have been it. Will definitely go back next time we are in town

We went here for lunch and were served pretty quickly. We had the shrimp burger, which was delicious and overflowing with shrimp and the chicken cheesesteak sandwich. The service was a little off, we had 3 different people come to bring us water, straw, and lemon separately. If that was the only thing, it was an overall good lunch and good value.

The buffet has so much good food to choose from. The employees are nice and clean. My favorite is the baked chicken and the sauce is awesome. The turkey wings are a great choice as well.

I was quite surprised upon entering this restaurant. We had reservations for 6:30 and was promptly seated. I understand the suggestion to have reservations as dining area small and they were very busy. Took a little longer to receive our food than I like but it was worth the wait! Our party of 4 all ordered something different but all raved about the food! The appearance and taste was awesome. I would highly recommend you try it. We had a 30 min drive but it is well worth any drive!
