This unassuming small restaurant has minimal decor, so if you're looking for atmosphere this is not the place. However, if you are looking for good food for good prices - this is the place. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food good and plentiful.

A pleasant surprise to find this quality of Mexican dining experience in the mountains. Selected it because it was one of the few choices for dining within several miles, but would go out of my way to eat there again. Great selection of unique flavor sauces at the sauce bar.

Well, the building and the furnishings need a facelift, but don't let that deter you from enjoying a meal here! The prices are very reasonable, the proprietor is super nice and the food was good. My husband and I have trouble eating out sometimes because 1) we're vegan and 2) we don't eat oil or salt. We were happy to find the food was prepared with very little oil and salt and the owner was very willing to work with us regarding substitutions for cheese/meat. The portion sizes were good. The salsas are all homemade and VERY fresh and delicious. We've tried every other Mexican restaurant in town and scratched them all off our list because of heavy oil and salt. This was our last stop and we're happy to say we will be back! I haven't tried their tacos yet but I hear they're great!

Sunday afternoons are a really bad time to stop here. The church crowd sometimes hits them hard, and it doesn't take a lot to overwhelm. Drive-thru is pretty quick most of the time, but dining room is notoriously slow.

When we are looking for a local restaurant with Mexican cuisine, this is our first choice. The food is always fresh and the service is always quick. We never wait more than 10 minutes for our food. The waiters speak fluent English and Spanish which makes it easy to order. My husband recommends the Chapala super

El Chapala was a franchise arrangement between various family members. I do not know the particulars of the changed relasionship and, factly it is none my business. But in Haywood County there are numerous Mexican restaurants and, while most of them ware equal to or better, than those I have eaten in Mexico and Southwestern US, Three Compas is my go to Mexican restaurant. In this regard, I may be totally bias but having reviewed many restaurants, hotels, resorts, etc. over the years, I try to give an honest opinion. In this case, I must admit to a long term relationship that hopefully wonât transcend my desire for objectivity.

While traveling through the mountains decided to stop for some Mexican food. Found this hidden gem in a strip mall. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but I'm so glad we tried this place. Good chips and salsa...good cheese dip. We had the enchiladas verdes, the 2 burrito dinner, and the ACP. All were very good. Portions were large and the service was great.

Very good food and quick service. The salsa bar is great wit.fh a wide selection. Fajita were very good. Our friends got tacos and burritos. Said they were delicious. Very busy place especially on Saturday.
