Pita is soft, humus is flavorful, service is quick! A great place to come for lunch. A wiiiide variety of food to choose from. Keep it simple. Enjoy the family's beautiful old photographs and authentic dress adorning the restaurant while you wait. Ask the owners about their heritage and you will hear lovely, rich stories which will leave you wanting to know more! We have returned several times. Hoping you enjoy your visit as we have!

Came here because it was supposed to be Egyptian. I'm sure the cook was, but it tasted more like Turkish to me. Food was good. We had Babaganoush and shawerma (sandwiches) which were good. We also had Umm ali for dessert. Definately come hungry.

Over many visits, the food has been consistent and tasty, with traditional and also inventive middle eastern dishes. The setting is informal and self-serve, but the staff are responsive and able to customize should you have a specific request. Prices are modest, atmosphere welcoming and casual. On the grocery side you can find many staples of middle eastern cooking, should you care to try your hand at home. Don't go here if what you seek is table service -but if you are interested in a range of tasty middle eastern foods, this is the place. I try to get there every visit to Greensboro.

Disclaimer - we ate from their food truck, not from a physical store.The lady taking orders was friendly and did a great job. And food was pretty tasty. Fries were extremely fresh and cooked and salted perfectly - possibly the best fries I've ever eaten. I personally would have enjoyed a little more spice and maybe a touch more tahini sauce in my falafel pita just to keep it from being dry, but I would definitely eat here again!

Great Greek food - mainly salads, kabobs. Pitas, but fresh and very good.I went with friends to the location on W.Market St. It stayed packed.Takes a while to get your food especially if you have a large group. Everyone very friendly. Substantial portions. Not fine dining but perfect Greek grill

It is not very often that you see a restaurant with a posted 99 food inspection rating. Sarah's Kabob Shop has earned that fine distinction. I love their new location. It is so roomy, is very attractive, and is nicely decorated. Our favorite item is the Beef Shawarma. We order it with the medium spice level and it is just right for us. The meal is always carefully and attractively plated. Your meal is a feast for your eyes as well as a delight for your tastebuds. Meal portions are very generous in size. Everything is so very fresh and well prepared. I usually eat all of my fresh crispy salad. They I take home half of my beef shawarma and half of my pita for lunch the next day. Do yourself a favor and have a meal at Sarah's Kabob Shop soon.Thank you for the kind review:)) We strive to please every customer and am so very pleased that you enjoyed the food and atmosphere!! Several times when we've visited a friend in the Greensboro area we've visited the Green Valley Grill and the food and service are consistently excellent. The portions are generous as well. This time it was a birthday celebration but we didn't tell the waiter--there was jjust a card on the table; the waiver identified it and provided a dessert with a candle gratis--how thoughtful (and delicious). The scallops were excellent (as usual) and the short ribs great. Highly recommend.This is just fantastic! Your server will be thrilled to read this.
