Had dinner here with friends who had been there before. Atmosphere was pleasant and allowed for quiet conversation,,,chairs were of heavy metal and uncomfortable after time. Breann and staff provided excellent service throughout the evening. Two of us had the Broccoli Di Rabe Aglio e Olio which was unique and very tasty. Another had the Spaghetti e Polpette...meatballs and sausage were good but the small amount of pasta was overwhelmed by a large volume of sauce. The Gamberei All Scampi was ok but had no spice to it. We will give a second try as we really like Italian food...will modify our orders (more pasta/less sauce and spicier).

Each course was consistently disappointing. Rather than experiencing a harmony of flavors, each dish was overwhelmed by uncharacteristic notes of conflict and discord. The peach appetizer was well presented, but the fresh, sweet peach slices were overwhelmed by bitter olive oil. The hot honey pizza was burdened by a spicy drizzle that exceeded its sweet and savory potential. Also, the pizza chef failed to sweep and clean the oven. Bits of burnt and blackened flour on the bottom of the pie is just lazy. The rigatoni sugo has potential, but in an attempt to provide an interesting flavor profile, clove was too liberally applied, providing an unpleasant aftertaste. Sadly, our meal was awful.

While in the area on a business trip, I came to this restaurant for dinner in part to all the hype I heard about it. The establishment is very small, so it has limited seating; it has precooked pizzas that can be warmed upon ordering or you can request a specialty pizza/item to be made while you wait, pizzas can be purchased by the slice or as a whole pie; there are fountain or bottled drinks for sale; the staff was friendly as well as courteous; and most important thing to know when coming here, this is a cash only establishment. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and a pepperoni calzone. Both were just okay and kind of bland, so nothing spectacular.

We had the family dinner on Friday night for eight people. What a great meal! Service is impeccable and the 6 courses were delicious. We were served so much that we all had doggie bags to bring home. They have 2 seatings and reservations are required. It was such a strong reminder of my childhood in Brooklyn, NY and the families I ate with. Desert of cannolis, carrot cake and another pastry were sublime.I can't say enough about this restaurant.

We have been twice so far during our 5 day stay in the area! We got the veggie quesadilla the first dayâit was amazing! Went back and got a large veggie pizzaâ-hands down the best pizza weâve had in a long, long time. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. May go back again before we leave town!

Stopped in for pizza based on recent reviews and was disappointed. Pizza was just average. The pizza menu was quite large but we ordered a large plain cheese pizza, our favorite. The crust was thin, but brushed with a garlic oil and not tasty. The sauce was not fresh at all, tasted like a can sauce and was way too thick. Cheese was fine.We tasted other local pizza in Wilmington and know that this style is not the norm. The location is more of a pub gathering spot then restaurant.

Coming from the N.Y. Metro area, finding decent pizza has been a nightmare. We've tried so many different places that claim to have NY style pizza, but most of them are just a step above the frozen cardboard from the supermarket. I'm happy to say that Pizzetta's finally put a smile on my face. Not perfect, but a quantum leap above the others. We had a thin crust Margarita that was huge, so somebody came home with us. They offer many different pies and you can also just order a slice of two.Great mixture of sauce, crust and cheese.Located in the Brunswick Forest complex.
