The population was 15,903 in the 2010 Census. Gerald R. "Ronnie" Michael (a former police chief in the city) serves as Mayor and Albemarle has seven-member City Council elected in a combination of at-large and district seats. Albemarle has operated under the Council-Manager form of government since 1962. Michael Ferris has served as City Manager since December 2014 and previously served as Assistant City Manager for nearly two decades. The City Manager is appointed by the City Council, and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of City government. The City’s Department Heads report directly to the City Manager, who is also responsible for development and administration of the City’s annual budget.

Except the fact that they bring the food step by step for each one of my friends and we had to wait until each one of us got his/her food, this restaurant has good food. They are very friendly, and they try to help every step of the way. My Texas Fajita was exceptional good.We are glad that you had a nice experience at our location, We have spoken to the staff about being more aware of serving entire table at the same time, but sometimes we rather the food get served hot , than a client receive cold food. But I am glad that you brought this to our attention.

This is our very favorite Mexican Restaurant in Albemarle. The food is always hot and delicious and the service is awesome. They serve alcohol if youâre wanting to have a beer or mixed drink. Iâm a strict Diet Coke lady, and designated driver. So, if youâre out for a meal and a beer this is a great place. Prices are reasonable.

Went for lunch with a friend. The salsa and chips were the same you see at many other mexican restaurants, nothing special. I ordered the lunch fajitas. The fajitas were what you'd expect. They were good, but not great. I found this place to have the same quality of food as all the other mass of mexican restaurants that are out there. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were affordable and what you'd expect to pay for a lunch dish. I would go back if there weren't other mexican options in the area that i have not tried yet.

Went to this Taco Bell before the family went to a drive in movie. The thought of getting a quick meal was the idea. However, spent more time arguing with the guy/girl at the drivethru window about how we as customers said the wrong thing when we were ordering. We left highly offended and still with the wrong order. Maybe someone's staff should take classes in listening carefully. Not worth the hassle.
