Celebrating 20 years!
Our first night in Avon for this trip. With two little granddaughters, eating out just doesnât sound that great. So, pizza to go it is. Pepperoni and Mushroom, Ham and Pineapple (Maui something), and cauliflower crust with bacon and spinach- all three with great reviews. Love to eat in sometime soon, but not this trip.

Awesome pizza and prepared in under 15 minutes! I was impressed! The crust is hand tossed but yet they got it crisp which I prefer. The supreme had everything you could want. They do only have small or large. I shouldâve gotten a small but it fed us two times so it was all good.

We have stopped at Nino's numerous times on our vacations and never disappointed with the quality of the food. The calzones are probably the best ever in my opinion. The menu offers a variety of items for everyone to choose from. Always a great place to stop and get dinner on the first night of vacation.

Gary, our server, was friendly and laid back. The portions here are enormous and the prices very reasonable, making dining here a great value. The food is good - maybe not great, but good - and the air conditioning is cool.I would return again to load up and enjoy a decent meal at a great price.

Family Owned - Restaurant with homemade dough and sauces...made from family recipes passed down for generations, Pizza, Subs and Sandwiches and Dinners
With all of the delicious food and amazing restaurants on Hattaras Island, there is absolutely no reason to waste your time or money at Giovanni's. We had the veggie pizza and cheddar hot poppers. The pizza crust was a bland chunk of bread; its perfectly symmetrical shape lacking any irregularity betrayed its likely origin as a prepared item pulled from the freezer. I cannot comment on the quality of the sauce as there was so little of it that there was not detectable flavor. The cheese, while characteristically stretchy, was the blandest mozzarella known to humankind. Basically, grab any 3 for $10 frozen pizza out of the supermarket freezer and you will have the same dining experience as eating a Giovanni's Pizza. The hot poppers were fine, just unremarkable and also clearly pulled out of a bag in the freezer and dropped in the deep fryer. Skip this place and go to literally any other restaurant on the island.
