I got take-out so granted, that's never as good as staying and enjoying the meal there. The meat dish was loaded with gravy, oils, and sauce but the chicken portions were a little skimpy and not boneless. The rice dish was incredible and aromatic. A section of the room is dedicated to a large bed where one can enjoy and meal and nap afterwards. Definitely want to try that one day.

$9.00 for an inclusive lunch. Andy is present to keep it flowing. Do not miss the tomato, cucumber, onion, cilantro salad. The naan is replenished freshly made, hot out of the tandoor. The tandoori chicken is perfectly prepared. Try the chicken tikka masala, if vegetarian, the sag tikka masala. A variety of rices. The fried veges in the first pan go great with the green cilantro, spicey, or tamarind burgundy, sweet, dipping sauces next to the salads. Just above is the raita, a cooling cucumber, yogurt sauce. Yep, it's all there. Enjoy!Bruce, happy to know you really enjoyed your lunch here! Thanks so much for letting us know what you thought of all the dishes you tasted. It just made our day! Looking forward to seeing you back really soon in the future!Best,Andy S, Owner

We love to support local restaurants (non-chain) and we are very happy with our latest find, The Chef. A little hard to see as it is set back from the road in a strip mall, corner of Pitt School Rd and Rt 29, but worth it to find it. Interesting concept, healthy choices and very different, which we really like! Nicely decorated, bright and colorful, very comfortable. You can tell that the staff is new, but they are really sweet and helpful. We have been there twice so far. First time we started with the Calamari, very tasty, not greasy, with a spicy marinara sauce on the side. Then we split the Tikka Masala. Big serving, they split it in the kitchen for us, which was really nice, cauliflower rice on the side, which we love! We ate our fill and even took some home! The sauce was excellent! They even gave us a free sample of the Mango Lassi to try, really yummy! The next time we ate there with our daughter. We started with the Chunky Guacamole with Yucca chips, excellent! She had the Trumpet Mushroom entree. Great to see some vegetarian choices besides just salad! Again, this had an excellent sauce on it. We split the Salmon entree. Beautifully plated, the salmon was slightly over done for my taste, but the wonderful sauce on top made up for it. This chef really has a way with sauces. Really elevates the food. We then split the gluten free carrot cake for dessert. Again, a beautiful plate and a piece big enough for three to share! Really friendly staff makes it an enjoyable evening out. Come check this place out!

Normally I loathe any restaurant with a buffet line but Aroma is outstanding! Authentic Southern Indian cuisine with plenty of vegetarian dishes, great menu, and, of course, a great lunch buffet. Clean. Good service. Inexpensive for the quality. Tindouri Poriyal = Fantastic!Methi Chicken = Tender, and delicious. Yes I said delicious and I mean it. Most restaurant chicken tastes like it came from a Goodyear tire factory because it's so rubbery, but the chicken in this dish was tender and full of flavor!

Wonderful entree selections, some were exceptionally aromatic. The breads were more basic, decent appetizers. We were there soon after opening on a Sunday night so mostly empty but had a half dozen tables in use when we left. The place is at the end of a strip mall and looks it inside, could use a little attention to decor but still worth four stars of. The strength of the food. Very nice patio or. The side but not sure they use it, would be an excellent addition. We'll be back for sure!
