My family wanted to try this sit down Chinese restaurant. Upon entering the dcor is very pleasant; however, we could not have been more disappointed in the food. First, the egg rolls we ordered came ot so fast that they were obviously cooked before we ordered them, and they tasted like that and chewed like they had been sitting, very tough instead of crisp. The Moo Goo gai Pan I ordered was tasteless. My son's Lo Mein was spaghetti with soy sauce, absolutely horrible, and prepared with all the care of a cook who didn't care what he put out. The portions were small, but the food was so bad we didn't care, except it was rather expensive for Chinese, about $9 an entree. We will never eat at Chin's again.

Still haven't found a good oriental restaurant in the area. Just another quasi-Chinese/sushi buffet operation. Do these places all get their prepared to heat up and serve food from the same distributor?Totally predictable fare. The place is clean, yet void of service, flavor, and quality. The search continues...

We were asked to join some friends there to dine recently. We were not impressed. The buffet selection was not large and the food quality left a lot to be desired. The food was edible but not much more. The meat items were disappointing in quality and the desert selection was sparse. The service was good however. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

The buffet style Chinese Restaurant was great years ago, now, it has fell off my chart. It's easy to stir, yet no one does it, and food is left out under heat lamps and it hardens. The place has got "Best Restaurant" awards, but don't buy it. The tea is not kosher, it WAS, the service from the waiters is good, the staff friendly, but again, someone needs to come out of the kitchen and stir things to keep items from getting hard . The price is the same at most other restaurants, It is a pretty clean place, not 100% clean but pretty clean. Their is an excellent asian restaurant in the Cleveland Mall, much better than here, at least until they start keeping dishes fresh again. When i first ate at the place, It was superb, It CAN be again.
Sometimes you come across a âhole in the wallâ restaurant with outstanding fare. China Express is not that. A tired, dirty storefront operation with a 50/50 dine in and takeout traffic. Offering a broad menu of Chinese entrees with rice, Japanese hibachi, and side orders including chicken wings, we dined in with standards of Hunan Beef and Beef and Broccoli with spring and egg rolls. Both entrees were a little bland with week cooked meat and fresh vegetables. The rolls were obvious prepared items. The white rice was obviously reheated. It wasnât bad it just wasnât that good. We continue our search for good Chinese cuisine in Cleveland County!
