Years ago, this was the place to go on a Friday or Saturday night for good seafood. Have been a couple of times in the last year and, each time we say we wonât be back. Not bad tasting but really just didnât have good flavor. I got flounder and it was just okay. Nothing good- pretty tasteless. My family agreed. Plus it is overpriced for the serving size. There are other seafood places just a short drive away that are much better and a better value. The wait staff seemed unprofessional as well. Older lady who didnât seem physically able to be waitressing and want too excited about having to wait on us. My recommendation- just keep driving

Stopped in for lunch. They have a variety of fried or broiled seafood options. We told our waitress it was our first visit to the Mayflower. She was very helpful and brought us a sample of the chowder. I had the fried oysters... they were very good. My husband had the broiled seafood platter, which has a number of different items. All very tasty. I wish they had a liquor license, or at least beer/wine... because a frosty beer would have been great with the seafood. We'll certainly go back.

We were hanging out with two of our grandchildren and after seeing the new Lion King we were referred to this joint. Let's start with the menu.... Super stacked!!!! When I mean super stack for a place of their size, we were seriously impressed!!! Crabs, soul food, seafood, etc. All the down south items you've grown up to enjoy is being offered in this small venue and customer service is A-1!!!! I don't eat meat so I ordered a veggie plate and their lima beans were cooked to perfection!!!! Oir grandchildren were completely quiet the entire time while they ate and we all left so full and satisfied!!!! This is a must try on your local ventures.... BTW, did I mention they use crab AND lobster in their crab cakes?!!!!

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. The first time was not bad. The food quality was good. It had minor hiccups but understandable since it just open. You recieved a lot especially if you order the huge seafood boil. The only thing was they messed up a drink order and the sauce was too sweet. Now lets travel to now. HORRIBLE. I am not one to give a one negative but overall this place is a negative. #1 There was a booth that had no one there when we arrived that had food left on it, quite a bit. There was only my group and another lady and a guy filling up cocktails sauce. It took 20 mins for someone to clear off that table. Flies! We actually had to mention it to our waitress. #2 Out of certain crabs but you can't put a sign up and you have been open for 4 hrs then offer 20% off bill. I will get to that in a min. So since they were out, i decided to get the "jumbo snow crab leg" . The waitress said oh yes they are . When they came out , more like infant crab legs. She had the nerve to say well we are giving you 20% off. No keep the 20% and I have the receipt to show it! They said they had to change menu because they had to meet 80% of franchise standard. You do know other people have been to other ones. But again this was my experience and I would never go back. Oh and i was missing corn and potatoes. Told the waitress but was just ready to go. I was so disgusted and upset. They got me this time but never again...Infant snow crab legs. Smh
