This is my two friends favorite Mexican restaurant, they have been to many. The place was packed with locals. I had chicken with a type of Spanish rice, guacamole, and lettuce. The chicken breast was pounded flat, cooked in a frypan with onions, cheese of some kind and seasoning, it was so good, I ate the whole thing. I was starved, I wouldâve loved to had more to eat, it all looks so good and smelled so good. Decent salsa, couldâve had better chips, but thatâs okay. The place is old, with lots of charm, it is a family owned restaurant, well worth a visit.

Been traveling to Franklin Moore frequently than normal due to a sick parent. Seems like we show up at this place a lot. Wife wanted Taco Tuesday again and ordered two soft tacos, one beef, one chicken. I decided on the quesadilla fajita. Boy it was sizzling, so was the place it was filling up fast. All in all another great meal and no reason not to come back.

So disappointed. I ordered a lunch special - a burrito grande with beef. I kind of expected it to be - grande, i.e. big, with perhaps something inside the burrito besides just ground beef. But that is what is was, ground beef in the flour tortilla, topped with sour cream and shredded lettuce. One slice of tomato too. That was it. It did not taste interesting at all. Chips were not salty and salsa was not too flavorful. On the plus side, it was edible, and not awful. Service was good.

There are so many Mexican restaurants in town, but this one has the most authentic dishes we've found. There are several really good special entrees, and all the favorite stand-bys. The restaurant itself is CLEAN and really well decorated. Not too fancy but not shabby. Anything with their salsa verde sauce is fantastic, and the same with their mole sauce - I don't think anyone else even offers mole sauce here. The service is good; they don't fawn over you so don't expect it. But they are so fast and efficient it doesn't matter.
