Stopped at Exit 264 while traveling I-40 back to the beach. Picked up a mixed order of "Fried and Bar-B-Que Chicken", and two quarts of "Brunswick Stew" to take home. The "Hush Puppies" were a very nice snack while driving. Restaurant had great service and clean Restrooms. Easy off / easy on from the Interstate. It was nice to get home, unpack and just eat a good dinner with no preparation.

Awful drive thru service @9:30pm. We were traveling from Raleigh area wasn't expecting to find anything open really. It was a nice suprised to see Wendy's open. We should've kept going...we were the 2nd to the last customer helped. There were 10-15 cars behind us...I guess they felt like we did, suprised it was open. The management didn't have enough compassion not to mention professionalism to send one of the staff out to let people know they were closing at 10...no! he let each one roll up to order until one of the victims in line circled to say it was closed. We witnessed all if this while the car in front of us socialized with the server/cashier for at least 8min. When it was our turn there were no chicken nuggets nor bacon for our order. Why we were allowed to place our order 10min prior. Never stopping here again. Shame on all of you involved in addition to your nasty attitudes on Christmas eve especially.

This is one of the cleanest and largest Hwy 55 restaurants I have ever visited. Service is excellent. We ordered BLT's and fries. So yummy good! Service is fast and attentive.
